Who we are
The Toronto iX studio is our Canadian headquarters, serving as a base for our team of experience strategists, designers and developers. Toronto (actually pronounced “Turonno” by the locals) is quickly becoming one of the world’s largest tech innovation hubs, with many startups and fintechs taking advantage of its highly skilled workforce and three universities. Our modern and stylish office in the center of the city provides a space for collaboration and building new business. With specialties in the areas of contact center, customer experience and design, mobile and Salesforce, the team works together to lead some of Canada’s biggest banks, airlines, telecoms, sports franchises, and oil and gas companies into the intelligence era. We can also confirm that a VR headset fits quite nicely over a winter toque.
To start your morning:We’re a nation of coffee drinkers. We’d like to attribute this to our long, cold winters, but in the summer, we just switch to iced coffee. We’ll enjoy anything from the classic Tim Hortons’ “double double” (that’s Canadian for two creams and two sugars) to an artisanal brew from Balzac’s café. Nobody in our crew ever turns down a coffee!
To power through the afternoon:As one of the world’s most multicultural cities, the Toronto team devours authentic cuisine from every port. On any given day, our lunch room tables might feature sushi burritos, poutine (a national staple of french fries smothered in gravy and cheese curds) or a giant bowl of northern Thai and Laotian-inspired sticky rice from across the street at our favorite hangout, Sabai Sabai.
