RSG Media Systems Inc. is in an ideal position to help its customers gain actionable insights. With these new capabilities, RSG Media sought to strengthen its position in the industry, making its platform an indispensable tool for content owners and distributors, gaming companies, IP licensors and sports leagues.


Backed by the robust IBM dashDB data warehousing platform, IBM DataWorks data refinery tools and the IBM Cloudant Dedicated Cluster database environment, the solution can scale to handle increasingly expansive volumes of data without the need for an expensive information management infrastructure in-house. Additionally, RSG Media is integrating IBM Watson Analytics technology into the mix, using the cognitive engine to understand natural language, create interactive visual models, automate the development of complex statistical analysis, and storyboard the analysis of complex business problems.


The consolidation of data and a central analytics engine in the cloud help the company take new apps to market quickly, creating a new, recurring source of revenue with relatively low costs. In fact, moving to the cloud significantly reduced RSG Media’s TCO while enabling the faster creation of new products.
