The Wimbledon digital experience

Reimagined, refined, and redesigned for every end user

For more than 35 years, IBM Consulting has worked side-by-side with All England Lawn Tennis Club to design, develop, and deliver the award-winning digital experience of The Championships, Wimbledon.

And this year, the teams worked together to introduce a completely reimagined app and website, with streamlined navigation and, beautiful design elements. This work, and the digital foundations that support it, enable the club to deliver a steady stream of innovative, AI-powered features, like Match Chat and Likelihood to Win. Whether you’re a fan or a player, the new platform engages, educates, and entertains, all while preserving the timeless beauty and tradition of Wimbledon.

Every point changes the story of a match. Live Likelihood to Win uses agentic AI to combine scoring data, match statistics, and expert analysis into continuously evolving win probabilities for every singles match. Now enhanced with Key Moments, the experience goes beyond momentum swings to identify the pivotal plays — from marathon rallies to untimely double faults — that quietly reshape the direction of a match in real time.
