In those roles, she spends as much time on her laptop as she does in the field. Whether she’s scuba diving to the world’s only underwater marine lab to get a first-look story with Fabien Cousteau, reporting on technology used by an elephant orphanage in Kenya or jetpacking across the Pacific Ocean, it’s all in a day’s work for Linendoll.

Dr. Angel Luis Diaz, IBM’s Vice President of Cloud Architecture & Technology, is a champion of open technologies to reinvent the enterprise. He is leading a technology transformation to drive both IBM & the market toward a Next Generation Enterprise Software Platform to deliver accelerated client value through interoperability & portability, based upon standards & open source at scale. Passionate about the art-of-the-possible, Dr. Diaz leads a global team that works across open source communities, international organizations & standards consortia to foster development of the next generation of open technologies & to help clients realize their potential by innovating upon an open architecture. Additionally, Dr. Diaz’s Cloud Performance Solutions team works with leading customers on enterprise infrastructure, application architecture/platform & workload optimization.

Glen Tona is a software Developer at the IBM Bluemix Garage. The Bluemix Garages are new consulting labs housed in startup communities that partner with clients of all sizes to design and develop engaging apps and transform how development is done. Glen focuses on development of cloud applications which bridge between startup and enterprise communities. He works closely with thinkers, creators, and inventors in order to drive applications from idea to market. His main mission is to help build the next generation of Applications in the Cloud.

Solomon Hykes is the founder of Docker (formerly dotCloud), and the creator of the Docker open source initiative. A Forbes 30 under 30 and YCombinator alumni, Solomon led dotCloud as CEO through 5 years of fundraising, business operations and product launches before focusing entirely on Docker.

Catherine Bracy, Director of Community Organizing at Code for America, is one of Monday's dev@InterConnect luminaries. Bracy oversees the San Francisco-based non-profit's community network-building initiatives. She previously served as the Tech4Obama Program Manager and managed the Knight Foundation's grant competition funding digital innovation in journalism. Bracy is a native of Oakland, CA.

James Governor is a Principal Analyst and Co-Founder at RedMonk. Based in Shoreditch, London, he advises enterprises, startups and major companies such as IBM and Microsoft on developer-led innovation, community and technology strategy. He is also proud to have open-source nonprofit organizations such as the Apache Software Foundation and the Eclipse Foundation as clients.
James is co-author of the O’Reilly publication, “Web 2.0 Design Patterns: What Architects and Entrepreneurs Need to Know.” In 2009, he served as Chairman of SAP’s external panel for stakeholder assurance in Sustainability Strategy and Reporting. He led the creation of the RedMonk sustainability subsidiary, GreenMonk. James makes extensive use of both open source and social media tools in RedMonk’s business operations.

Jonathan Bryce, who has spent his career building the cloud, is Executive Director of the OpenStack Foundation. Previously he was a founder of The Rackspace Cloud.
He started his career working as a web developer for Rackspace, and during his tenure, he and co-worker Todd Morey had a vision to build a sophisticated web hosting environment where users and businesses alike could turn to design, develop and deploy their ideal web site – all without being responsible for procuring the technology, installing it or making sure it is built to be always available. This vision became The Rackspace Cloud. Since then he has been a major driver of OpenStack, the open source cloud software initiative.

Ricky is a Brooklyn, NY based hacker currently working as a Developer Evangelist at Twilio. He’s focused on creating fun and entertaining apps. His apps have been used by hundreds of thousands of users and covered in multiple media outlets including: CNN, Huffington Post, TechCrunch, Mashable, VentureBeat and the Today Show.

Donnie Berkholz is RedMonk's Ph.D. Scientist and Analyst, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He joined in 2011 after spending most of his career as a researcher in the biological sciences. His background includes work at the Mayo Clinic involving data analysis & visualization as well as scientific programming.

Donnie has more than a decade of experience developing and leading the Gentoo Linux distribution, which gives him significant expertise in areas that RedMonk covers, including open-source development, community management, systems management, and software packaging.

Sandy Carter is IBM General Manager, Ecosystem Development and Social Business Evangelist and Author. In this role, she is responsible for IBM’s worldwide relationship with independent software vendors (ISVs), which contribute to approximately one-third of IBM’s revenue. She also manages the key partnerships with the development, academic, and venture capital communities which comprise IBM’s industry-leading ecosystem of influencers, and is focused on critical areas of business ecosystems like big data, cloud, mobile, social, and analytics.
