The IBM Bluemix team is pleased to announce the new pricing for the Bluemix Secure Gateway. The new pricing will go into effect on March 16, 2017.

Remind me, What is Secure gateway?

Secure Gateway is a hybrid-cloud service which provides a secure tunnel to securely connect your Bluemix application to resources sitting on premises or in another cloud, without the need for complex security configurations.

To use Secure Gateway, you must place at least one “gateway” in each cloud, and configure the gateways to talk to one or more “destinations” (endpoints).  Multiple gateways may be used in a single cloud for isolation of network traffic or management permissions.

I am already using Secure Gateway, do my payments change?

No, your current plan will remain unchanged, unless you choose to move to the new tiered model.

What regions are affected?

Pricing applies to Dallas, London and SydneyBluemix regions.

What changed  on Bluemix Dedicated?

We changed the price of the following:

The previous price was previously $1000, and it was increased to reflect the resources allocated with this part.

Are discount structures affected?

IBM Bluemix will support and honor existing discount structures.
