It’s here! The new IBM Collaboration Solutions User Community

Share this post:

As we announced at Social Connections 14 in Berlin today, our new IBM Collaboration Solutions (ICS) User Community is now live!

You told us you want to have the ability to centralize all your IBM Collaboration Solutions information into a single destination as a one-stop-shop, that will help you stay in-the-know and get involved with the ICS community. We heard you!

We are excited to launch the IBM Collaboration Solutions User Community — your new hub for accessing IBM Collaboration Solutions assets, blogs, content, documentation, enablement, and so much more. The IBM Collaboration Solutions User Community is a place to get together, share ideas and learn about what’s new in Collaboration, as well as connect with IBMers and the ICS community on the latest happenings within the Collaboration space.

The IBM Collaboration Solutions User Community is built for you — whether you are a valued customer, trusted business partner, or loyal Champion, a user of one or many of our products, or a developer helping expand our products far beyond where we could imagine. The community is built using the technology within our portfolio: IBM Connections Engagement Center (ICEC) and IBM Connections with an add-on, providing you IBM Watson Workspace access.

This community consists of five main areas:

  • The homepage introduces the latest information and announcements from the IBM team
  • A news tab has information from both the community and IBM sources
  • The product page is for product-specific information across our Collaboration Solutions portfolio
  • A training & enablement page provides use cases to help drive adoption within your own organizations
  • The “Champions Corner,” dedicated exclusively for our IBM Champions. Thank you for being a Champion!

Here’s how to get access:

Go to the enrollment landing page- ibm.biz/ICS_Community_SignUp – Once there, new users will click Continue to Agreement to agree to the IBM Cloud Services Agreement and associated Service Descriptions (SDs) for the services used in the new community: IBM Connections Engagement Center, IBM Connections Cloud and IBM Docs Cloud.

Upon accepting the agreements, you will be taken to the enrollment form to input the information described below. Since the user community is new, the IBM team will need to provide you access through an entitlement and provisioning of an account. IBM, as a leader in GDPR compliance, takes data privacy seriously and seeks to comply with all regulations. As such, we will need to collect basic information in order to create an account for you. Data collected will be:

  1. First Name
  2. Last Name
  3. Email Address
  4. Relationship with IBM (customer, partner, IBM Champion)

Lastly, upon submitting the form, you will be redirected to a confirmation page informing you that we have received your information and will be creating an account within the next 1-2 business days.

Please note, in order to showcase the newest features and functionality for you to preview through this site, this community is built on an IBM test server. As a result, you may notice intermittent (but not disruptive) downtime.

We look forward to your participation and we hope you find this new community useful!
