This evaluation program requires the Rational Asset Manager evaluation key. After completing the registration, download both the 30-day evaluation key and the product trial code. (The evaluation key has a file type of .upd. For example, C94V2NA.upd is the evaluation key file for the Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP versions.) You must save this evaluation key file for use by the Rational License Key Administrator.

The estimated download time using Download Director over a 1.5Mbps connection is 45 minutes for the minimum file size and 1 hour and 10 minutes for the maximum file size; 45 minutes using Installation Manager.

Choose one of these options to download the trial. A Web install downloads and installs the product from a Web based repository. A local Install downloads and installs the product to your local hard drive.

* The minimum file size represents the core code, whereas the maximum file size includes all optional components.
