Db2 13 became available in May 2022 and continuously delivers new capabilities and enhancements in function levels. Starting with the GA release, Db2 13 has delivered the following function levels:
- Function level 508 (APAR PH66983 - October 2025)
- Function level 507 (APAR PH64907 - April 2025)
- Function level 506 (APAR PH62635 - October 2024)
- Function level 505 (APAR PH59534 - April 2024)
- Function level 504 (APAR PH54919 - October 2023)
- Function level 503 (APAR PH51469 - February 2023)
- Function level 502 (APAR PH47891 - October 2022)
- Function level 501 (Db2 13 installation or migration - May 2022)
- Function level 500 (for migrating to Db2 13 - May 2022)
- Function level 100 (for migrating to Db2 13 - May 2022)

As listed in the following sections, a Db2 Tools product must have all required APARs to be compatible with or use Db2 13 at a specific function level. Click the section heading or the preceding symbol to expand the section for details:
- Db2 Tool specifies the name and version of a Db2 Tools product.
- Compatible with Db2 13 indicates that with the required APARs applied, the Db2 Tools product works with Db2 13 as it did on a previous Db2 release, but it cannot use the new functions of Db2 13.
- Supports Db2 13 new functions indicates that with the required APARs applied, the Db2 Tools product can use the new functions of Db2 13.
- "No APAR required" indicates that the Db2 Tools product is either compatible with or supports the use of new Db2 13 functions without the application of any additional APARs.
- The same APAR number listed under "Compatible with Db2 13" and "Supports Db2 13 new functions" indicates that the APAR contains the code for both compatibility and usage support of Db2 13 at the function level.
