APAR status

Error description

• SQL Performance Analyzer fails with Char-Numeric conversion
  error when processing DB2 function levels containing alphabetic
  suffixes (e.g., 131A), introduced starting from FL509.
  
  Historically, DB2 function levels were numeric only (e.g., 1310,
  1311).
  SQL Performance Analyzer logic assumes numeric values and
  performs comparisons between:
  
  DB2LVL (CHAR)
  numeric constants (BIN FIXED), e.g. 1310
  
  Starting with DB2 FL509, IBM changed PRID format to
  alphanumeric:
  
  {{FL509  '131A'
  FL510  '131B'}}
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• DB2 level comparison fails with new alphanumeric PRID. ADBDMTI
  does not use custom Launchpad table library (SADBTLIB).
  TCz job for tablespace creation misses MAXPARTITIONS parameter.
  APPLCOMPAT values for FL509/FL510 are not correctly handled.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code updated to support alphanumeric PRID comparison,
  ensure ADBDMTI honors custom SADBTLIB library,
  include MAXPARTITIONS parameter in TCz tablespace creation jobs,
  and apply correct APPLCOMPAT values (V13R1M508 for FL509 and
  V13R1M509 for FL510).
