  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR provides enhancements to      *
  *                      support Db2 online conversion of        *
  *                      table spaces from partition-by-range    *
  *                      (PBR) to partition-by-growth (PBG).     *
  ****************************************************************
  GEN:
  This enhancement enables generation of DDL for table spaces,
  tables, and indexes when the object is affected by a pending
  alter to PBG. Pending changes are reflected in the generated
  CREATE statements when the option "Include Db2 pending chgs"
  is set to "Yes." Otherwise, ALTER statements are generated.
  When an alter to PBR is also pending, the generated ALTER or
  CREATE statements reflect the final PBR attributes.
  
  Object Compare:
  With this enhancement, Db2 Object Comparison Tool now
  supports the following capabilities:
  1)Generating ALTER statements to convert a PBR table space to
  PBG, eliminating the need to drop and re-create the object
  2)Generating ALTER statements for repartitioning, when the
  partitioning key of a table in a PBR table space is changed,
  avoiding drop and re-create operations
  3)Generating ALTER statements to handle dropped partitions
  from a table in a PBR table space
  4)Retaining partition-level attributes and partitioned indexes
  when dropping a partition or changing the partitioning key
  
  ALT table:
  This enhancement introduces the following changes to ALT
  functionality for tables:
  1) Ability to alter the partitioning key by using primary
  command PARTCOLS on the ADB27CPV (Alter Partitioned Table)
  panel
  2) Ability to drop a partition by using line command DROP
  on the ADB27CPV (Alter Partitioned Table) panel
  3) Ability to restore partition-level attributes and
  partitioned indexes when dropping partitions or altering a
  partitioning key
  4) Support for new operations in the virtual changes
  functionality for ALT on tables
  
  ALT table space:
  This enhancement introduces the following changes to ALT
  functionality for table spaces:
  1) Ability to alter the partitioning key by using primary
  command PARTCOLS on the ADB21TAV (Alter Partitioned Table)
  panel
  2) Ability to drop a partition by using line command DROP
  on the ADB21TAV (Alter Partitioned Table) panel
  3) Ability to restore partition-level attributes and
  partitioned indexes when dropping partitions or altering a
  partitioning key
  4) Support for new operations in the virtual changes
  functionality for ALT on table spaces
  
  Alter (AL) table:
  This enhancement introduces the following panel changes
  for AL functionality for tables:
  1) New option ALTER PARTITIONING BY GROWTH on
  panel ADB21TA (Alter Table)
  2) New fields DSSIZE and MAXPARTITIONS on panel ADB21TA
  (Alter Table) to support conversion to PBG table spaces
  3) Existing ADD PARTITIONING KEY option on panel ADB21TA (for
  PBG table space) changed to ADD/ALTER PARTITIONING BY RANGE.
  This change was made for consistency with the new PBR option
  ALTER PARTITIONING BY GROWTH.
