Smarter filtering and data table views of SRM disclosures and responses
Enhanced filtering and new data table views are introduced in SRM. Disclosures can now be filtered by key metadata like owner, framework, status, reporting year, and more, with a sortable table and pagination for large datasets. Responses also support filtering by status, roles, topic, category and an actionable questions toggle. You can also view all questions in a disclosure in a single sortable table while retaining column customization. These updates make navigating and managing ESG disclosures faster and more efficient.
Uploading responses to an SRM disclosure using a template
You can now upload multiple responses to a disclosure at once using a simplified template. The template pre-populated with questions can be downloaded from a disclosure. You can fill in your responses offline and upload it back to update responses in bulk. For more information, see Uploading responses using a template.

A flexible API for standardized emissions calculations
The Envizi Emissions API gives developers and sustainability teams a faster, more flexible way to calculate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions directly within their own tools and workflows. The API provides standardized Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 calculations using a managed library of global and regional emission factors aligned with the GHG Protocol, removing the need to build or maintain emissions logic in-house. Teams can embed emissions calculations into applications, analytics tools, or internal systems using modular REST APIs and clear, developer‑friendly documentation. For more information, see Emissions API or the FAQ for Envizi Emissions API.
Calculate GHG emissions directly in Microsoft Excel
With IBM Envizi Emissions Calculations in Excel you can calculate GHG emissions directly in Excel by using trusted Envizi methodology and managed emission factors. Enter activity data into preconfigured templates or your own spreadsheets. Preconfigured functions automatically retrieve emission factors to generate standardized Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 results, with no coding required. Designed for self‑serve analysis, the Excel add-in helps teams move quickly from manual spreadsheets to consistent, audit‑ready calculations. For more information, see Emissions Calculations in Microsoft Excel or the FAQ for Envizi Emissions Calculations in Excel.
New Data types page for viewing and configuring data types
System administrators can use the new Data Types page to view managed and private data types. System administrators can also use the new data type wizard to create private data types. For more information, see Data types.
Detailed factor set hierarchy
System administrators can now configure a detailed factor set hierarchy to control the order in which factor sets are checked for relevant factors when compiling monthly data in accounts and meters. The feature provides greater flexibility in managing factor application across different regions. For more information, see Factor set hierarchy.
Updates to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) social account styles 2026
Updates to ESRS social account styles 2026 are now released and include the latest account styles for the upcoming simplified omnibus version of the ESRS disclosure requirements. For more information, see ESRS social account styles.
GHG Inventory report enhancements
The GHG Inventory report has been enhanced with visual updates to align with IBM Carbon styling, including a new date picker. The total and subtotal for scope 3 category 3 is now included in the primary data table and is no longer a separate value. For more information, see GHG Inventory report.

March 2026

New universal interval consumption meter connector
A new universal interval consumption meter connector is now available for consumption data, replacing limitations in the legacy SBS loader. The new implementation retains the same file format while bringing proven enhancements from the accumulative meter component, ensuring consistent support for components and units of measure across both interval consumption and accumulative readings. The legacy consumption meter connector specification remains available for existing implementations. For more information, see Universal consumption reading meter connector specification.
Stopping data loads for closed meters
Envizi ESG Suite provides a system configuration that controls how long meter data continues to be processed after a meter is closed. For more information, see Closing a meter.
Response summary field now available for form-based questions
A rich-text Response summary field is now available for form-based questions in frameworks such as ESRS and IFRS. You can now draft narrative responses that can support tables and include formatting, alongside existing structured response details. This enhancement enables generating and editing qualitative content consistently across all framework types while maintaining compatibility with existing schema-based data entry.
Improved Microsoft Word exports for table responses
You can now export table responses captured in structured response details to Microsoft Word. The export follows the same behavior as PDF exports, where tables with more than six columns are rendered vertically to improve readability. For more information, see Exporting a disclosure.
Clear selections in single-choice fields
You can now clear single-choice or radio button fields and return the field to an unselected state. This enhancement makes it easier to correct mistakes and avoid saving unintended responses.
Viewing associated organizations
System administrators can now view the external teams that are formally associated with their Envizi ESG Suite instance to deliver implementation or support services. The new view provides transparency at the organization level, showing which teams have access to the instance, including Envizi™ (IBM), accredited Business Partners, and IBM Expert Labs. This feature helps ensure the security and integrity of data by providing greater visibility over who has access to the instance. For more information, see Viewing associated organizations.
GRESB 2026 updates
GRESB 2026 related updates have been released and include the latest GRESB 2026 Real Estate framework related changes. For more information, see What's new in GRESB.
Global search in Sustainability Reporting Manger (SRM)
Use the new global search in SRM to search across all major areas of SRM from a single, unified interface. This enhancement makes it easier tor you to quickly find disclosures, questions, and responses without navigating into individual disclosures, and so, improves efficiency when you manage large volumes of content.
