Configuring meter names in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
In IBM® Envizi ESG Suite, configure the meter names that are sent to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager during an API data sync.
About this task
- For Envizi ESG Suite accounts, by default Envizi ESG Suite uses the concatenated account style name, account number and account reference to form the corresponding ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager meter name.
- For Envizi ESG Suite meters, by default Envizi ESG Suite uses the concatenated meter name and meter serial no. to form the corresponding ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager meter name.
ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager meter names that exceed the maximum 60 characters limit can be truncated, and result in ambiguous meter names in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
At both the
organization level and the location level, you can configure the terminology of meter names that are
sent to ENERGY STAR
Portfolio Manager during an API data sync. If you configure a setting at the location
level, it overwrites the organization setting for the location. Otherwise, all locations inherit the
same setting from the organization.
