GHG Inventory report

The GHG Inventory report provides a view of all your GHG data in a format that's easy to review and extract. You can save a copy of the report and modify it to suit your specific formatting and data requirements.

Each page contains a date selection panel that you can use to specify a start and end date for the period that is shown in the report.

The market-based emissions are available only for the period that is configured for your Market-based reporting. For more information about the presented market-based emissions figures, see Market-based Emissions report.

The report includes the following tabs that each contain varying levels of data:
GHG Inventory
The GHG Inventory page provides an overview of your total emissions across all scope 1, 2, and 3 sources, including emissions, market-based emissions, and biogenic emissions.
GHG Inventory – Scope 1
The GHG Inventory – Scope 1 page includes information about your scope 1 emissions, and provides native units, energy, emissions, and biogenic emissions values.
GHG Inventory – Scope 2
The GHG Inventory – Scope 2 page includes information about your scope 2 emissions, and provides native units, energy, emissions, market-based, and biogenic emissions.
GHG Inventory – Scope 3
The GHG Inventory – Scope 2 page includes information about your scope 3 emissions, and provides native units, energy, emissions, and biogenic emissions values.
GHG Inventory – Other Scopes
The GHG Inventory – Other Scopes page includes information about emissions that fall outside the previous scopes, and provides native units, energy, and emissions.

GHG Inventory

Figure 1. GHG Inventory table
A screenshot showing a sample GHG Inventory table.

The data in the GHG Inventory table is aggregated by scope, scope 3 category, and data type category.

Each row in the table provides emissions, market-based emissions, and biogenic emissions values. Emissions are calculated from the managed or custom emission factors that are configured for your organization.

Market-based emissions are calculated by using the methodology from the Market-based Emissions report PowerReport. For any account that does not have market-based emissions, such as scope 1 or scope 3, the Market-based emissions column instead reports the emissions based on standard emission factors.

Biogenic emissions are provided if the factor body in use provides them, or if custom factors have been created that include biogenic emission factors.

GHG Inventory – Scope 1

The scope 1 data in the table is aggregated by data type category and data type.

For each row, the native units, energy, emissions, and biogenic emissions values are provided.

GHG Inventory – Scope 2

Figure 3. GHG Inventory – Scope 2 table

The data in the table is aggregated by data type category and data type.

For each row, the native units, energy, emissions, market-based emissions, and biogenic emissions values are provided. Emissions are calculated from the managed or custom emission factors that are configured for your organization.

GHG Inventory – Scope 3

The data in the table is aggregated by scope 3 stream, scope 3 category, and data type.

For each row, the native units, energy, emissions, and biogenic emissions values are provided.

Emissions are calculated from the emission factors that are applied to your data.

Biogenic emissions are provided if the factor body in use provides them, or if custom factors have been created that include biogenic emission factors.

The data in the table is aggregated by scope, data type category, and data type.

For each row, the native units, energy, and emissions values are provided.
