IBM recently announced the creation of the Small Business Toolkit (www.smetoolkit.org), which arms entrepreneurs and small businesses with free information on how to implement the sustainable business management practices needed for growth in areas such as finance, accounting, international business, marketing, and human resources.

To help close one important aspect of the Hispanic Digital Divide, IBM is working with schools and non-profits to offer a software technology that automatically translates e-mail and Web pages bi-directionally (English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English).

Canadian National Institute for the Blind For seven years, IBM Canada Headquarters has hosted the annual Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB)-Gretzky SCORE (Summer Computer Opportunities in Recreation and Education) Teen Camp, which gives teens who are blind and visually impaired a chance to develop a positive sense of self and learn IT skills. |
