Position statement
The
Enterprise Team has the responsibility to work with business units as
they consider strategic investments and location decisions.
Our activities include:
- The development of strategies to maximize IBM business opportunities when we locate people, invest in property, and expand business operations in a given geography.
- Our strategies include the following subjects:
- Cash Grants
- Training Grants
- Tax Abatements (Real Estate, Income, Sales and Use, etc.)
- New business opportunities
- The support of Government for our business model (legal, financial, infrastructure, education, and partnerships).
