As Vice President of Marketing for Industry Solutions, IBM Software Group, Alisa Maclin leads marketing strategy and execution globally for this high growth area of IBM’s portfolio. IBM’s industry solutions help organizations better meet their customers’ evolving needs through integrated solutions in the areas of marketing, commerce, procurement, enterprise content management and operational services. This includes two of IBM’s key growth initiatives, Smarter Commerce and Smarter Cities. In this role, Ms. Maclin leads a world-wide team responsible for market research, branding, advertising, messaging, digital marketing, social media, events, channel strategy and strategic partnerships.
Over her 25 year career with IBM, Ms. Maclin has held global marketing and sales leadership roles in IBM's Software, Global Services, and Sales and Distribution divisions.
Ms. Maclin lives in Irvine, California and holds a BA in Communications Studies from UCLA, and an MA in Communications Management from USC's Annenberg School for Communications.
