You will be automatically sent a link to our online testing platform. 

Cognify Game Based Test – 20 min
An exciting series of interactive games that measure your problem-solving skills and numerical reasoning.  It will take no longer than listening to six and a half songs and should be lots of fun!  

Learning Agility Assessment – 25min
A situational exercise that matches your personality traits to Consulting.  Following a sequence of statements about your preferences and behaviours, there are no right or wrong answers. 

Video Interview - 15 min
We ask you three questions and you then simply record and submit your answers. Each answer is capped at 3 minutes, and you’ll have 1 minute to think about each answer. You can use the practice run before you answer these questions. This is an opportunity for you to show us your communication skills and personality!

You will be sent an online application form where we ask you five questions to supplement your CV and video footage. They are no secret so you can think about them ahead of time and have plenty of time to prepare.

Assessment Centre

half a day

Come and spend some time in an IBM office. You will participate in different exercises to test your skills.

You will participate in group activities to demonstrate your logic and discussion skills as well as having a face to face interview with a Graduate Consulting Manager.  We will ascertain if IBM is right for you based on our core values, and where we think you may best fit in the consulting organisation.  There will be opportunities throughout the day for you to speak to a current graduate, meet the Consulting and HR recruitment teams and to ask any questions you may have. Top Tips for the Assessment Centre - be yourself, be prepared and do your research into consulting at IBM.

Business Interview

1 hour

This interview is specific to the business area you have been matched to. It’s a chance for you to demonstrate you have done your research and have some understanding of what we do.

Try to quantify your experience

How big was the project? How long did it last, what were the results? Be specific about how you measure success from the achievement.

Keep it clear and concise
