Release of IBM Process Mining 1.14.2

In release 1.14.2, IBM Process Mining comes with an all-new user interface that enhances your user experience. It includes a new Home page and Assets dashboard. For more information, see Home page and Assets dashboard topics.

Process Apps

Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can access the event logs and configuration details of a custom process app to analyze the process app activities during the ETL stage. For more information, see the Accessing the custom process app logs and configuration details and Process App topics.

Schedule source retrieval from cloud storage

Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can establish a connection with the Azure Blob storage services and schedule source retrievals. For more information, see the Schedule source topic.

Backup and History

Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can choose the elements and attributes that you want to include in the project backup. You can also choose attributes that you want to upload before you apply a backup. The History tab now displays the list of attributes that are selected before applying the backup. Insight to Action

Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can create a service to an SMTP server. You can then use this service to create a monitor event and send the results of the event to the desired email addresses. For more information, see the Creating and managing a service topic.

IBM Task Mining

• Dashboard

  Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can get detailed project insights from the Task Mining project dashboard. In the new dashboard, you can filter and view project information and statistics for application usage, agent interaction, and application interaction. For more information, see the Dashboard topic.

• Task classification

  Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can filter manual and automated tasks in the Task classification page of IBM Task Mining. For more information, see the Task classification topic.

Other improvements

• Case State filter for conformance level

  Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can view the conformance level of the completed cases and running cases by using the Case State dropdown in the Model conformance panel. For more information, see the Visualize the process based on the selected model topic.

• Analytics

  Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can add and edit filter and filter templates, which are created in the process mining environment, in the Analytics dashboard. For more information, see the Filter topic.

• RPA bot generation

  Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, the PDF file that is downloaded by using the Export Analysis button includes the BPMN image of the selected activity.

• Simulation settings

  Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can specify the number of resources that are allocated to each role in a process to create simulation scenarios. You can also specify the percentage of involvement of each role in an activity on the new Staff tab under the Activities section. For more information, see the Simulation topic.

• User creation and administration

  Starting from IBM Process Mining 1.14.2, you can specify the user type (Personal and Service) during user creation in the Add new account page. You can also specify whether TM Agent is enabled for the user. For more information, see the Creating users topic.
  Additionally, the Administration section is updated to include the following changes:

  • Usage details page now shows the number of active business and analyst users in the project.
  • Groups page now provides six default user groups.
