Troubleshooting Configuration Hub Find resolutions and explanations for problems in Configuration Hub. Configuration Hub messages and error codesSee a description of the messages and error codes that are issued in Configuration Hub. These messages follow the format BCXQCxxxxxxE.User interface roles and permissionsEach role enables access to different permissions in the Configuration Hub user interface to do specific operations. Permissions for each role are fixed and cannot be changed. Subrole permissions to maps and code lists can be changed by the company administrator (admin). An administrator can grant or remove user access to maps and code lists in Configuration Hub by assigning resource access through B2Bi SaaS Hub.Troubleshooting: Cannot access Configuration HubIf you cannot access Configuration Hub, ensure that have an IBMid with either a Company user (user) or Company administrator (admin) role. Additionally, ensure that you have access to the Configuration Hub application.Troubleshooting: Cannot upload map or code list changesIf you receive an error when you try to upload changes to a map or code list, consider the following possible reasons.Troubleshooting: Cannot edit checked out mapIf you clicked Check out for a map and then clicked Cancel when you were prompted to select the location to save it, the map was still checked out in your name. In this scenario, either Download the source map to continue working on it or undo the check-out.Map editor errorsWhen setting up the map editor or updating an ODBC data source, you might encounter errors.Troubleshooting: Cannot undo a check-outIf the Undo check out option is no longer available for your map or code list, it may be because you have already completed a deployment on the revised map or code list. Transfer check out function is available after check out until production deployment or submit for manual deployment to production. Troubleshooting: Cannot remove another user's check-out or lockThe ability to remove another user's map or code list check-out or lock is not available to the Company user (user) role in Configuration Hub. To remove a check-out or lock placed on a map or code list by another user, contact your Company administrator (admin) or IBM®.Troubleshooting: Cannot find conflict status code list or mapThe status Conflict might occur when an update to a code list or map is made outside of Configuration Hub. If you are notified or suspect that a code list or map is in Conflict status, you can easily sort the Status column by clicking the header. For code lists, sort the list in ascending order to display all code lists in Conflict status on the first page of the Code lists page. For maps, sort the list in ascending order to display all maps in Conflict status on the first page of the Mapping page.Troubleshooting: Code list or map in conflict statusThe status Conflict might occur when an update to a code list or map is made outside of Configuration Hub. You cannot do any action on a code list or map in this status. If a code list or map is in Conflict status, IBM Support follows a synchronization process to fix the conflict. The path to resolving a conflict depends on the most recent actions that you took for the code list or map. The conflict resolution process also depends on the status of the code list or map when the conflict occurred. If you own the lock for a code list or map that is in Conflict status, IBM Support might contact you to notify you that they are unlocking the code list or map so they can resolve the conflict. If you checked out a code list or map that is in Conflict status, during the synchronization procedure, your current work-in-progress version of the code list or map is saved with a Final status and it is displayed in the version history. You can view this version through the version history of the code list or map. You can download and save your updates to the code list or source map locally. Then, when the synchronization successfully completes, IBM® Support notifies you that you can check out the code list or map and upload your changes.Reverting map or code list changesIf you check out a map or code list and upload changes to it, but then determine that you no longer want to update it, you can revert the changes. You can also revert changes if you deployed the resource (map or code list) to Customer Test Environment (CTE). These scenarios do not occur often.Troubleshooting: Cannot deploy to CTEIf a backend system outage occurs, a banner is displayed on all user interface pages to notify users that the Customer Test Environment (CTE) backend system is not available. In this scenario, users cannot deploy any resource to CTE while the backend system is not available. This banner is only visible during the outage, and is automatically removed when backend system access is restored.Deleted or missing keys of connectionsThis issue is applicable for only those connections that use an API key. The issue might be encountered in case of only the inbound connections and outbound connections of the Pull type. Sometimes, the API key for public or private connections might be deleted or missing from B2Bi SaaS Hub. In such cases, you might encounter an error, and the status of the connection displays the Error status. For details on the error, hover over the Status field, which displays a message similar to the following: "API key missing in CTE." When the API key is missing from the Production environment, the error message changes accordingly. To further investigate the details, click on the connection. The connections details page displays a message similar to the following: "API key missing in CTE. Add and retry."Java-related errorWhen attempting to run the map test, sometimes you might encounter Java-related errors.Standards library missing or not installedSometimes, the EDI option is either missing or empty when creating a new map.Base64 Apache errorSometimes, after you run the SI Map Test tool and switch to the SPE Map Test tool, you receive an error.ODBC errorsEmpty or missing EDI options in the standards drop down when creating a new map.Parent topic: Troubleshooting
