Troubleshooting: Cannot upload map or code list changes
If you receive an error when you try to upload changes to a map or code list, consider the following possible reasons.
- The map or code list might be locked instead of checked out.
Locking a map or code list does not mean that you change it. The map or code list must be checked out in your name for you to revise it. To ensure that you checked out a map or code list, go to the details page of the map or code list that you want to modify. In the Checked out by information section, you can see whether a map or code list is locked or checked out, and by who. If you locked the map or code list and you want to check it out instead, click Check out.
- The file name of the source map or code list was changed after it was checked
out.
Ensure that the file name of the source map or code list was not changed after it was checked out. Renaming of maps or code lists is not allowed.
- For maps, the file names of the source map and the compiled map might be different.
Ensure that the file name of the compiled map is the same as the source map. The names must be identical for the upload to work.
- For maps, if you checked out a map and already uploaded the revised map, and now you cannot
upload other changes, the map might be undergoing a production readiness review.
A production readiness review cannot be canceled after it starts, and changes to maps are not allowed while they are under review. If a production readiness review is successfully completed for your map, you can change it afterward. However, you must submit the map for another production readiness review to regain eligibility for a future production deployment.
