Frankly, talking like a millennial isn’t enough

The conventional wisdom for the last half decade has been that for a brand to engage their Millennial audience online, they must speak “authentically” in the argot of the online Millennial. This best practice is no longer sufficient, as the online discourse has grown and changed, and as Millennial customers are asking more from the brands who talk their talk. We partnered with millennial news leader Mic at Cannes Lions to discuss authenticity and millennials with three industry experts.

Speakers:
Chris Altchek, Co-founder & CEO, Mic (moderator)
Nancy Kramer, Chief Evangelist, IBM iX
Susan Panico, SVP Strategic Solutions, Pandora
Lydia Daly, SVP Social Media & Branded Content Strategy, Viacom Velocity
