IBM Cloud Paks: Open, faster and more reliable cloud computing

Share this post:

Beyond containers and Kubernetes, enterprises need to orchestrate their production topology, as well as implement management, security and governance in their applications. IBM Cloud Paks are IBM-certified, enterprise-ready, containerized, preintegrated software solutions that give clients an open, faster and more secure way to build, move and manage core business applications on any cloud.

IBM Cloud Paks are compelling as they:

  • Run anywhere: portable, running on-premises, on public clouds (including IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google), or in two new, pre-integrated systems
  • Are open and secure: IBM certified, up-to-date software that secures the entire stack, from hardware to applications
  • Are flexible and consumable: delivered as packaged use cases to build, move and manage, easy to consume, and you only pay for what you use, when you use it

In the video below, you can learn more about the ideas behind IBM Cloud Paks and how they can help businesses to go into “chapter 2” of their digital journey:

The Five IBM Cloud Paks

Each Cloud Pak includes a Red Hat OpenShift container platform, IBM certified containerized software and open source components, and common software services for development and management, on top of a common integration layer – designed to reduce development time by up to 84% and operational expenses by up to 75%.
