Our updates last month were mostly about administration enhancements, starting with a new security configuration that gives your Connections administrator the option to refuse access to websites that have untrusted certificates. This option is available in the plug-ins for Windows, Mac, and Outlook. For information about configuring this option, see the instructions on the catalog page for each plug-in in the IBM Collaboration Solutions Catalogue.
For Connections deployments in Citrix environments, we’ve added the option to disable the Connections Sync folder in Windows explorer, because Citrix does not support syncing Connections files. For information about configuring this option, see the catalog page for the IBM Connections Desktop Plug-ins for Microsoft Windows.
Finally, we’ve removed the Connections menu from the Outlook ribbon but you still have all the great features of the IBM Connections Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook in the sidebar!
