Watson Studio is one of the core services of IBM Cloud Pak for Data, a multicloud data and AI platform. Together with IBM Watson® Machine Learning and IBM Watson® OpenScale™, Watson Studio provides tools for data scientists, application developers and subject matter experts to collaborate and easily work with data to build, run and manage models at scale.
Watson Studio is a service on IBM Cloud Pak for Data. You can deploy IBM Cloud Pak for Data in your private clouds (inside the firewalls), hybrid clouds, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. You can also use Watson Studio on IBM Cloud Pak® for Data as a Service, which is fully managed on IBM Cloud®. Or, through integration with IBM Cloud® Satellite™, you can also run data and AI services across on-premises, edge computing and public cloud environments from any cloud vendor. You can also deploy Watson Studio on IBM Cloud Pak® for Data System, a preconfigured on-premises platform-in-a-box.
Yes. Watson Studio offers a no-cost trial through the Lite plan. You'll be able to use the Lite plan for as long as you want, subject to monthly usage limits that refresh every month.
IBM SPSS Modeler Subscription has been renamed to IBM Watson® Studio Desktop Subscription. However, Watson Studio Desktop subscribers are able to download a stand-alone version of SPSS Modeler Premium at no additional charge.
Yes, IBM Decision Optimization is available with IBM Watson Studio for IBM Cloud Pak for Data.
IBM Watson applications are powered by IBM Cloud, and if you previously used an IBM Cloud account, that account is now expired. To continue your trial, you must obtain a code by contacting IBM through the Let’s talk button available in the lower right corner of this web page.
You can't load data files larger than 5 GB to your project from the Watson Studio application. If your files are larger, you must use the IBM Cloud® Object Storage API and load the data in multiple parts. See the curl commands for working with IBM Cloud Object Storage directly on IBM Cloud.
