Working with connections You can work with connections by selecting Company resources and clicking Connections from the Configuration Hub side navigation menu. Finding and viewing a connection listYou can view the list of connections by selecting Company resources and click Connections from the side navigation menu to access the Connections list page.Setting up connectionsA company administrator (admin) can add a new inbound (or outbound) connection for sending (or receiving) data.Adding pull connections to send dataAs a company administrator (admin), , or a business user, you can set up a connection for your company or your trading partner to send data to IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS by using published REST API protocol. This connection is set only as private, and is not shared with other companies.Adding push connections to send dataAs a company administrator (admin), , or a business user, you can set up a connection for your company or your trading partner to send data to IBM Sterling B2B Integration SaaS by using published REST APIs. You can set up a private or a public connection to receive data.Setting up schedulersYou can set up schedules to use specific time and date timestamps to schedule and run specific tasks.Authentication types and configuration settings for outbound connectionsWhen you are authenticating a connection, you can use one of three authentication types.Authentication types for inbound connectionsThe authentication for inbound connections created for APIs and HTTPS type connections can be made by using the client credentials and by adhering to the OAuth 2.0 protocol.Viewing and editing connectionsA company administrator (admin) or can view, edit, lock, or delete a connection in the Connections page.Transferring connection editsYou can transfer a connection, which you are editing, to another user. The Transfer edit feature is available only when the connection status is work in progress. You can edit a connection only until it is pushed to production deployment.Locking and unlocking connectionsYou can lock a connection to restrict other users from working on the connection locked by you.Activating and deactivating connectionsAs a user, company administrator (admin), or a representative of IBM Support, you can activate or deactivate a connection.Discarding connection editsAs a user, company administrator (admin), or a representative of IBM Support team, you can discard the edit for a connection.Overriding connectionsA company administrator (admin) or IBM Support can override a connection by using different options.Deleting connectionsA user, company administrator (admin), or IBM Support can delete a connection.
