Viewing and editing connections

A company administrator (admin) or can view, edit, lock, or delete a connection in the Connections page.

About this task

You can view the list of connections by selecting Connections from the navigation menu. You can select a connection name to view the settings in detail. Click the Connection information icon to access the Connection versions within either the Production or the CTE tab.

On the Connection information detail page, within the panel on the left, you can view the Protocol, Connection status, CTE business alias , Production business alias, Direction of the connection setup, Connection type, and Connection description. If your connection is of the hybrid type, the Connection type field displays the hybrid icon. You can click Edit, Lock, or Delete from the action ribbon.

To view the environment configuration, go to the Production or CTE tab. You can view the version number for each amended connection that is listed and grouped based on version category. Under each version category, you can select the version number that you want to view. It lists the Deployed to production and Deployed to production dates, Modified by which administrator from your company, Change description for this version of changes.

Procedure

  1. To edit the Production or CTE connection configuration, click Edit from the action ribbon.
  2. To change the Connection description, click the edit icon next to the title and edit the description. Click Save.
  3. To edit the existing configuration, edit the corresponding fields. And save the changes.
  4. You can deploy the changes first to the CTE and then to the Production environment. On each deployment, a new version is added to the Version history list page.
    You can discard the changes before you deploy the configurations. For more information about discarding the changes, see Discarding connection edits.
