Deleting connections

A user, company administrator (admin), or IBM Support can delete a connection. All versions of this connection and all the configuration settings are removed when a connection is deleted.

Before you begin

Before you delete an outbound public connection, you must block all trading partners who are currently using this connection. To block a trading partner from this connection, click Block from the trading partner list. You can also use this Block function to temporarily stop a trading partner from accessing this connection.

About this task

You can delete a connection if either you own it or it is not locked or owned by any other user. The following table displays the deletion privileges.

Procedure

  1. From the side navigation menu, select Company resources > Connections. Then, on the Connections page, click the Action options menu for the connection you want to delete. Alternatively, from the Connections page, click a Connection name to access the Connections details page.
  2. On the confirmation window, click Delete.
