IBM Tivoli Monitoring v6
Description: When "-f" (force stop) is specified with the itmcmd agent stop (CandleAgent stop), or itmcmd server stop (CandleServer stop) command, the "-f" is ignored by the systemctl stop <service> command and is not passed to the second itmcmd invocation.

Description: When the /<CANDLEHOME>/*/iu/ihs/Plugins/config/ITMWebServer/plugin-cfg.xml file entry for '<Transport Hostname=' value contains an FQDN (fully qualified hostname - host.domain) for the https entry, then installing the WAS 8.55.2401 patch will cause the TEP client login over the HTTPS connection to fail.
This can occur on any TEPS supported platform.

Description: Agents that are connected through a KDE Gateway agent go off-line.
The RTEMS for which the Gateway agent acts as a proxy may exhibit instability and go off-line.
Problem summary: An upstream Gateway establishes connections to a TEMS or Warehouse Proxy Agent in response to requests from the downstream Gateway agent to which it is linked. If the time to establish a connection increases, (for example, as a result of how TCP has been configured or because an error occurs), and if the rate of connection requests is high, (such as when a downstream Gateway agent is restarted), the upstream Gateway becomes preoccupied with processing the connection requests. As a result, it is unable to handle other traffic to/from either the downstream Gateway or the RTEMS or WPA.

Description: The installation of Tivoli Monitoring components on Unix and Linux unpacks several plugins on /tmp and executes scripts from that location.
If /tmp is a filesystem which is mounted with noexec option, script execution fill fail and the installation will not be complete.

Description: Due to GSKit issues with AMD EPYC processors, Tivoli Monitoring installation, upgrade or usage can lead to some executables using 100% CPU and not completing initialization.
During installation or upgrade the incorrect behavior can be seen in gsk8capicmd_64.
During product usage any ITM component using the GSKit (kdsmain, klzagent and possibly others) can hang at startup using 100% of CPU.
This problem has so far been observed only on xLinux.

Detailed Recreation Procedure:
1. Install MQ agent of version 08.24.03.00 (APM V8.1.4.0.21) on Linux or Windows platform
2. Configure agent to connect with queue manager with names having special characters dot(.)
3. APM Dashboard will show incorrect value of MaxChannels and MaxActiveChannels attribute.

Known Issue DT391502: "Channel Statistics attributes" documentation contains extra attributes which are not supported by agent
Description: Modify "Channel Statistics attributes" documentation as it contains some extra attributes which are not supported by agent.
Below mentioned attributes are present in agent's Object Definition Interchange (ODI) file but implementation/data collection for the same is not supported by agent.

[New IBM Tivoli Monitoring Related Section: Java Expired Certificates]
Resigning Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) client JAR file certificates.
Summary: Java certificates for the IBM Tivoli Monitoring portal client jar files have an expiry date. It's also possible to
encounter certificate issues (such as expiration or low encryption levels) at any time when you add other application
support packages to your environment. Adding support packages can be performed manually or automatically via the Self Describing Agent functionality.
When that happens, JAR files need to be resigned. You do not have to wait for the certificates to expire, you can have
your JAR files updated with the latest certificate at any time.

[Preparing customer firewalls and proxies for the upcoming infrastructure changes]
New network connections between your machine and IBM servers.
Abstract: IBM is planning to implement infrastructure improvements to Call Home, Testcase Data Exchange and Secure File Transfer on 4th June 2022.
Both Public and Internal IP addresses will change for the IBM servers that electronically exchange test cases, configuration files, traces, dumps and other diagnostic information with customers.
Customers will experience uninterrupted service due to the change in IP addresses in June.
Both the current IP addresses and the new IP addresses will be accepted initially.
From August 31st 2022 only the new IP addresses will be accepted and so it is advised that new firewall rules and proxy updates are completed before that date.
