ITCAM RPT Robotic script playback on RRTA agent fails with error "Transaction is not in progress"

Troubleshooting


Problem

While playing back a Rational Performance Tester HTTP/HTTPS test script robotically, using an ITCAM for Transactions Robotic Response Time Agent (RRTA - T6), the playback fails with the following error.
Generic Failure - java.lang.RuntimeException occured in <script_name>. Message: Transaction is not in progress

Though the Playback status is 'Complete', under the 'Transactions' and the 'Applications' workspaces, no transaction or application is reported.

Symptom

The trace-robotic.log file shows the following error message.
 
java.lang.RuntimeException occured in <script_name>. Message: Transaction is not in progress
