The SDN Training department is going to be offering an Open Enrollment Class for the IBM SevOne NPM (standard class) starting 7/15-7/26/24. Class is 10-days at 4 hours per day and an office hour immediately after class.

There will also be an Open Enrollment for the IBM DI Only class from 7/22-7/26/24. Class is 5-days at 4 hours per day and an office hour immediately after class. The Evidence collection for NMS appliance is streamlined and simplified to use a modular approach. We continue to improve the MustGather information by including more tools and features. These new modules are now included

This module collects information from the NMS relevant to the SevOne API (SOAP, REST, SOA) |

This module collects information specific to the clustering operations (peer add/remove, hsa add/remove) in the NMS. |

device-discovery |
This module collects information specific to the device discovery (non flow) operations in the NMS. |
|
device-polling |
This module collects information specific to the device polling (non flow and excluding external plugins like xstats and deferred data) operations in the NMS. |

hardware |
This module collects information specific to the hardware appliances (Only applicable to SevOne provided Hardware). |

must-gather [default] |
The must-gather is the default module for the evidence collection command 'collect'. This option is always selected and included during evidence collection. This module collects the general system, platform, and system resource information about the NMS appliance. |
