How to verify the replication integrity of the cluster configuration on SevOne NMS appliances

How To

Summary

IBM(R) SevOne NMS cluster maintains its configuration within two instances of the MySQL database. The Cluster Configuration must be consistent across every appliance in the cluster to maintain operational accuracy and efficiency of the SevOne NPM. It is possible that the configuration database might become inconsistent due to any reason, which can then lead to database divergences or replication issues. Inconsistencies in the cluster configuration might impede reporting accuracy and negatively impact cluster operations. Such inconsistencies occur over time and can go unnoticed. In most cases when a problem is noticed, it is difficult to identify the appliances that have inconsistencies, if any and how many. This article explains how the 'SevOne-verify-replication-integrity' tool is used to verify the replication integrity on the NMS Cluster.
