Rational RequisitePro Fix Pack 7.0.1.6 includes fixes from previous fix packs and interim fixes, as well as the following new fixes. |
Component | APAR/Defect | Headline |
---|---|---|
Session Management | PK68245 | By default, RQProxy processes persist until 20 minutes of user inactivity or session log out. This variable enables administrators to modify the RQProxy timeout for all users. |

Rational RequisitePro Fix Pack 7.0.1.5 includes fixes from version 7.0.1.4 Interim Fix 001, which are noted with an asterisk (*) below. |
Component | APAR/Defect | Headline |
---|---|---|
Project Templates | IC59334*, PK70815*, RATLC01243922, RATLC01264526 | It was not possible to replace the default project templates with custom templates on a shared drive. You can now designate a secondary path (Tools->Options->Project Templates ). When you provide a path to a shared folder (using UNC), only the custom project templates in that folder are displayed -- not the default templates. |
Documents | PK19889*, RATLC00482450 | Could not move a document to a new directory using the document properties: "Runtimer error: "name" not understood". |
Integrations | PK77789*, RATLC01277509 | Batch refresh of integration with Rational ClearQuest caused unexpected mismatch error. |
Views/Queries | PK79326*, RATLC00407884 | RequisiteWeb views were not consistent with the views in the Rational RequisitePro client for Windows. |
Views/Queries | PK79391*, RATLC01476197 | Traceability Tree views displayed requirements that do not meet the conditions of the query. |
Exporting Views | PK80077*, RATLC01476881 | After exporting an Attribute Matrix view to a CSV file, if you viewed it in Microsoft Excel, all attributes except for the last attribute were listed in the first row. The last attribute was displayed in the second row under the first column. |
Importing Documents | PK80106*, RATLC01476893 | In RequisiteWeb, when importing a document that has tables or images in the requirement text, an error was displayed. |
Exporting Views | PK80829*, RATLC01477658 | When viewing requirements in a view or a CSV export, requirements that include line breaks in the requirement text displayed characters such as
instead of line breaks. Line feeds in the requirement text now display correctly in all the views and CSV exports. |
Views/Queries | PK81354, RATLC00153221 | While creating a Traceability Matrix view, if the check box "Direct links only" was cleared in the Query Requirement window, indirect traceability links were not shown. This works as designed. In order to see the indirect relationships, you must enable the "Show Indirect" option on the View > Properties menu. When this option is disabled, the legend "Relationships: - direct only" is displayed in the upper left corner of the view. If it is enabled, the legend shows "Relationships: - all displayed". This option is disabled by default. To change the default settings for all views of that type, set the view properties and then select View > Properties > Save As Default. |
Views/Queries | PK81507*, RATLC00409065 | An Attribute Matrix query failed to find string in attribute text field that is greater than 250 characters. |
Exporting Views | PK81631, RATLC01478614 | When exporting views to a CSV file, if values included a decimal and a zero, such as 1.0 or 1.1.10, the decimal places were not shown correctly. The problem was caused by data handling in Microsoft® Excel®. The resolved escalation RATLC01478617 provides possible fixes for the problem. |
Views/Queries | PK82459*, RATLC00409545 | Some traces were not expanding using the ellipsis button in Traceability Tree views in RequisiteWeb. |
Databases | PK83382*, RATLC00409955 | Could not move externally traced projects using the Data Transport Wizard. |

Component | APAR/Defect | Headline |
---|---|---|
Security | PK44251, RATLC01021508 | Users with read-only permissions were not able to open a URL link in Rational RequisitePro requirements. A security permissions message was displayed. |
Documents | PK51464, RATLC01033791 | Changes were not saved when attempting to modify a document type without an outline in RequisiteWeb. The "None" outline has been added to the list of available outlines in the RequisiteWeb administrator tool. |
Security | PK55921, RATLC01034601 | When logged into RequisiteWeb as a user with administrator permissions, you could not move that user to another user group. You can now move the user to another user group in RequisiteWeb, as long as the group has administrator project security permissions. |
Views/Queries | PK58056, RATLC01043373 | The new requirement creation row is displayed in an Attribute Matrix view, even when the tools option check box "In-view requirements creation" is cleared. |
Documents | PK59513, RATLC01048558 | When users attempted to open a password-protected document in Rational RequisitePro, they were prompted by Microsoft Word to enter a password. If they canceled at this password window, they received a Rational RequisitePro runtime error. |
Documents | PK59620, RATLC01220809 | When copying requirements within Rational RequisitePro, the check box "Apply to all new requirements in the document" did not prevent prompts for processing each requirement. |
Baseline Compare | PK65599, RATLC01062893 | When comparing baselines using the "Show only differences" option, all discussions were displayed. |
Documents | PK68445, RATLC01069483 | When attempting to view a Microsoft Word document that includes tables in RequisiteWeb, the display failed. RequisiteWeb stopped and had to be restarted. |
Documents | PK70515, RATLC01263839 | Changes to documents in RequisteWeb are not recognized as Rational RequisitePro changes in the client for Windows. A message incorrectly indicates that changes were made outside of the project. |
Importing CSV | PK71475, RATLC01236744 | When importing a CSV file that has one or more blank attribute values, Rational RequisitePro did not set them to the default attribute value after the import was complete, even though the attribute property, project property) shows there was a default value set. It left the attribute value blank. The CSV import logic has been changed to use the attribute defaults when the CSV value is blank or invalid. |
Views/Queries | PK75525, RATLC01274291 | When viewing a Traceability Tree view in RequisiteWeb, it did not display traceability between child requirements. |
Requirements | PK76139, RATLC01275298 | When creating requirements in RequisiteWeb, performance was too slow to support a large number of simultaneous users. |
Operating System | PK76240, RATLC01275442 | The Rational RequisitePro application was stopping when the user unlocked the computer, if it was running on the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. |
Views/Queries | RATLC01270306 | Some Traceability Tree views did now show all requirements, including child requirements. Using the View > Expand All command adds more requirements. |
Views/Queries | RATLC01274116 | The Attribute Matrix view did not display any requirements when filtering by attribute in a project using Oracle. |
Baseline Compare | RATLC01275737 | But when creating a project from a baseline, an invalid username/password error was received even when using the same login as the one used when for creating the baseline. |
