On-demand bare metal servers on IBM Cloud VPC deliver pay-as-you-use hourly and monthly billing options. No up-front payment or long-term commitments are required. IBM Cloud Bare Metal Servers for VPC is a global service with regional pricing. When selecting a server profile, clients can expect hourly billing on all included and selected metric parts.
The total hourly billing is a combination of the total hours that a server was provisioned and the total hours of the selected operating system. It also includes the network bandwidth speed selected per hour multiplied by the hourly rate of each. Total pricing includes pay-as-you-use bandwidth per gigabyte, bare metal server instances and software, internet data transfers and optional VPC services. Your billing charges accrue from provision to cancellation and are billed in arrears.
