Introduction to channel applications manager
This topic provides an introduction to channel applications manager.
You can configure IBM® Sterling™ Call Center, Sterling Store Engagement (Legacy), and Sterling Field Sales applications using the rules provided in the Channel Applications Manager, based on your business requirement.
Important: It is assumed that you are familiar with the concepts and business functionality explained in the corresponding application's Concepts Guide.
You can configure the following applications using the Channel Applications Manager:
- IBM Sterling Call Center
- Sterling Store Engagement (Legacy)
- Sterling Field Sales
Note:
- It is recommended that you adjust the Java™ Console memory parameters based on your data set and usage in order to avoid runtime exceptions.
- One of the configurations that you can perform is specifying the time limit for which a user can remain logged in to the IBM Sterling Call Center and Sterling Store Engagement (Legacy) application. The time-out parameters can be defined in the application server.
