Configure Announcement Rules

As an advanced configuration, you can configure the exception type and the polling interval for announcements.

To configure the announcement rules:

Procedure

  1. In the Channel Applications Manager, click the Expand icon adjacent to System Administration to expand the branch.
  2. Click the Advanced Configurations link.
  3. Click Configure Announcement Rules.
  4. Select an alert type from the Alert Type To Be Used For Announcement drop-down list.
  5. Enter the Polling Interval in Minutes to specify the intervals at which the application must search for new announcements. By default, the polling interval is set to 10 minutes.
  6. Click the Save icon to save your changes.
