Never stop learning

Share this post:

It’s graduation season. Time to celebrate achievements. Time to thank everyone that has made the day possible. And time to consider what comes next.

For me, the most enduring plan is to be a lifelong learner. Be curious. Seek to understand. Listen.

Because it’s important to grow both personally and professionally.

Learn the way you want

If you‘re in the field of technology – or aspire to be in this field – you’ll be facing constant change that will inspire you to grow.  And to help yourself along, it’s important to connect with an organization like the IBM Center for Cloud Training (ICCT).

At ICCT, the goal is to provide that help. In fact, in April ICCT made all of its cloud training programs free of charge.

This means that both role-based and specialty programs from ICCT are accessible the way you want them — with no fee for anyone, and available anywhere, any time.

This no-charge policy applies to the full range of learning paths, including Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer, Cloud Site Reliability Engineer, Financial Services Specialty, Satellite Specialty, and DevSecOps Specialty.

I invite you to learn more from Jani Byrne, Executive Learning Officer, ICCT, as she shared the free training news and her perspective.  Read Jani’s blog.

Get a quick start on becoming an IBM Cloud expert

Now you can boost your career in the rapidly growing cloud marketplace faster than ever.  Much faster.

We have condensed our introductory certification program, IBM Cloud Advocate, tightening the focus and revising study tools, so you learn exactly what you need to succeed in only 4.5 hours.

Learn more about IBM Cloud Advocate. Join us for the IBM Cloud Advocate Study Jam on June 6-7.

Keep the momentum going! Move forward with the updated, accelerated path to IBM Cloud Technical Advocate

Your time is valuable, so ICCT has accelerated the time to the IBM Cloud Technical Advocate certification.

The updated program transitions to a new user experience – introducing online, interactive, self-paced learning modules that replace its previous video-based curriculum. The revisions also cut the time required for completing the program by nearly 2/3, from 29 to 11 hours, with three hours devoted to hands-on labs.  Explore Cloud Technical Advocate.

Balance work and life

Fitting coursework and exams into your busy schedules can be difficult.  So ICCT provides intensive Study Jam sessions – two hours a day for two days – that can refresh learning and help you prepare for certification exams. Use the study jams along with the IBM Cloud Advocate and IBM Cloud for Financial Services Specialty self-paced courses.
