Identifying the Watson Health 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals

The Watson Health 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals study, formerly the Truven Health Analytics® study, focuses on leadership impact as it identifies the nation's 50 top performers in cardiovascular care based on publicly available data and a balanced scorecard comprising clinical, operational and financial metrics.

Hospitals do not apply or pay to participate in the studies, nor do winners pay to promote their award

How is the study conducted?

This study is based on public data, transparent analytics and metrics that support a balanced scorecard. The goal of the program is to deliver unbiased, guiding insights that can help all cardiovascular providers focus their improvement initiatives and move toward consistent, sustainable top performance. The 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals study is the only clinical service line study in the 100 Top Hospitals® program.
