WWR2 : Tour of the user interface : Projects perspective
Projects perspective
The Projects perspective is the default view in Storage Modeller. When you move to other perspectives, select Perspectives → Projects to return to this default view.
A project is a collection of one or more storage systems that relates to a customer, a use case, or any model you want to create. All projects are stored in the cloud; you cannot store them locally.
Here is the typical workflow for a project:
Create a project (see “Creating a project”).
Add storage systems to the Project.
Define and modify the storage systems hardware.
Define virtualization.
Add a workload for performance predictions.
Send a project through a formal Project Workflow, currently available only for projects that you define with IBM Cloud Object Storage (COS).
Support Projects. allows you to request an enhancement to Storage Modeller or report an error/bug.

The options in the Perspectives drop-down menu are links that take you to the following views:
Projects: All projects that you have created or projects that others have shared with you. See “Projects perspective”.
Workflows: All created projects under the Design pipeline. Currently only projects containing an IBM COS system will move through the workflow pipeline. See “Workflow perspective”.
Support Projects: A snapshot of every project that you forward to Storage Modeller’s Support team in a Support form. See “Support Projects perspective”.
Imported Data: A list of data that you have imported for use in workloads to assess the performance of your models. See “Importing data for performance assessments”.
