Content

Important items to be aware of in this maintenance release:
  1. IBM Tivoli Monitoring version 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 Service Pack 5 is intended to be applied to an existing 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7  (or 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 plus prior service pack) install base.   However, installing via Service Pack 5 allows for OS Agents running versions prior to 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 (e.g. 6.3.0 Fix Pack 5) to be upgraded directly to the Interim Fix version included.  Also for the OS agents, a pristine install is available via either remote deploy or the exportbundles option of tacmd:

LZ     Monitoring Agent for LinuxOS (6.30.07.05)
NT     Monitoring Agent for Windows OS (6.30.07.04)
UX     Monitoring Agent for UNIX OS (6.30.07.06)
    A4     Monitoring Agent for i5/OS (6.30.07.02)
Agentless Monitoring for Windows Operating Systems (r2) 06.30.07.02
Agentless Monitoring for AIX Operating Systems (r3) 06.30.07.02
Agentless Monitoring for Linux Operating Systems (r4) 06.30.07.02
Agentless Monitoring for HP-UX Operating Systems (r5) 06.30.07.02
Agentless Monitoring for Solaris Operating Systems (r6) 06.30.07.02

See technote ITM OS Agents: Installing maintenance via Interim Fix or Service Pack  for more information.

Service Pack 5 also includes latest IBM Tivoli Monitoring Event Synchronization Component at version 3.0.0.8.  Also included is an update for the "embedded WebSphere® Application Server" from v8 to WebSphere® Application Server v8.5.5.

Note: Before applying the WebSphere® update, please confirm that your environment supports v8.5.5 (See System Requirements for WebSphere Application Server v8.5.5)

  2. This is a cumulative service pack for ITM Tivoli Monitoring, Version 6.3.0 Fix Pack 07.  This service pack is provided as an official maintenance release and contains updates for Server components, shared components, and OS Agents.

  3. The Java Runtime Environment (JRE) packages that are shipped with IBM Tivoli Monitoring have been upgraded to the following:
    • 1.8.0 SR6 FP5 for CANDLEHOME on AIX, Linux, Solaris amd64 and Windows.

For AIX 6.1 oslevel -r less than TL7 (6100-07) and AIX 7.1 oslevel -r less than TL3 (7100-03)  and for Linux RHEL < 6.0 and SLES < 11.1 the following will be installed:

         1.7.0 SR10 FP60

    • 1.8.0 SR6 for CANDLEHOME on HP-UX ia64
    • 1.7.0 SR10 FP55 for CANDLEHOME on HP-UX PA-Risc
    • 1.7.0 SR10 FP60 for CANDLEHOME on Solaris Sparc
    • 1.8.0 SR6 FP5 or 1.7.1 SR4 FP60 for Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) browser clients (See Additional installation updates)

See Known limitations for issue with Java 8 on Windows Server 2008 (not Windows Server 2008 R2)

  4. For new platform support (see New Features),  this service pack can be used to patch copies of 630 FP7 pristine install media (see here).

  5. Please be sure to read the section "Prior to installation" before proceeding with this installation.

Download Information

Information on downloading IBM Tivoli Monitoring Version 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 Service Pack 5:

IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 Service Pack 5 (6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-SP0005)

Prerequisites and corequisites

The service pack should be applied to an existing IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 or 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 with Service pack installation.  6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 is available as both a pristine and upgrade install:

IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 (6.3.0-TIV-ITM-FP0007)

The System Monitoring Agents can be installed pristine, or over any existing System Monitoring Agent installation.

Known issues
Remote deploy installs (createnode, updateagent) may fail for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 releases.   Please ensure you have the latest available ksh rpm for your system if the remote deployment fails and try again or try local installation.

Known limitations

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 for IBM System z no longer supports 31-bit applications. This prevents the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server (TEPS or cq) component on original IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 media from being installable on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 for IBM System z. This service pack provides updates to allow TEPS installation by following the steps listed here Updating 630 Fix Pack 7 pristine...

IBM Java 8 does not work with Windows Server 2008 (NT 6.0). Please do not install this service pack on a Windows Server 2008 system. (Windows Server 2008 R2 is ok). Please note that Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 both go end of support on January 14, 2020

Installation information

Prior to installation

Before proceeding with the installation process, please make note of these important points:

  • Assign CANDLEHOME environment variable (Unix/Linux only)

Before installing this service pack on Unix systems, make sure that the
environment variable $CANDLEHOME is set to the IBM Tivoli Monitoring
    installation directory.

Note: The directory /opt/IBM/ITM is the default installation directory.

        For example:
        > CANDLEHOME=/opt/IBM/ITM
        > export CANDLEHOME

  • Transfer the appropriate archive file:

6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Linux-SP0005.tar.gz     -  IBM Tivoli Monitoring Base and Base Agents for all supported Linux platforms
6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Tools-SP0005.tar.gz     -  IBM Tivoli Monitoring Tools
6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Unix-SP0005.tar.gz       -   IBM Tivoli Monitoring Base and Base Agents for all supported Unix platforms
6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Windows-SP0005.zip   -  IBM Tivoli Monitoring Base and Base Agents for all supported Windows platforms

to a temporary directory on the system that contains the code to be
updated.  For the purpose of this README, the symbol <TEMP> represents
the fully qualified path to this directory.
Note: On Windows, this includes the drive letter.

Expand the archive file using the tar command on Unix/Linux systems or
an unzip utility on Windows systems.  This creates a directory
structure that contains fixes for all of the supported platforms.
  • As a best practice, it is recommended that all running IBM Tivoli Monitoring processes be stopped manually prior to performing an upgrade from a previous version or maintenance level to this service pack level. For systems with TEMS or TEPS installed, the service pack installer will not allow installation until the TEMS and/or TEPS are stopped.  While the upgrade installer will attempt to stop all other running processes, there are times when a running process will fail to stop and lead to unexpected upgrade failures if the upgrade is allowed to continue. If any process fails to stop during a manual shutdown, restart the system before proceeding with the upgrade.

  • Before upgrading, execute the cinfo/KinCInfo command per the instructions in the section entitled Validating what you installed.  After the install completes, this will help in validating the installation.  Once you complete the install, continue with the next section entitled Performing the necessary tasks after installation.

  • The following information applies to users upgrading on Unix or Linux using a non-root userid for the management server, portal server or any ITM / ITCAM agent.  You can use any non-root userid that you want to, as long as that userid has been created.  You must use the same userid as was used for the original installation, or the root userid.  These steps specify using the itmuser userid and itmgrp group and that the userid and group have been created.

    1.  Perform the management server, portal server or ITM/ITCAM agent upgrade as user itmuser.

    2.  After the installation completes, run "SetPerm -a" as user root.

    3.  When updating the management server:
         1. If Management server security was enabled, run "SetPerm -s" as user root to re-enable management server security.
         2. Add application support to the hub management server.

    4.  When updating the portal server:
         1. Configure the portal server as user root (this step will run InstallPresentation and add application support on the portal server).
         2. Execute the following command as user root to change the ownership of all files in $CANDLEHOME to user itmuser and group itmgrp:

              chown -Rf itmuser:itmgrp $CANDLEHOME

         3. Run "SetPerm -a" as root user again

    5.  Start the management server, portal server or ITM/ITCAM agent as user itmuser.

  • The following information applies to users upgrading on Windows systems.

Ensure you are logged on locally to the Windows machine with a userid that has administrator rights.

  • The following are recommended steps to facilitate recovery of the Tivoli Enterprise Management Server (TEMS) or the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server (TEPS) in the case where problems are encountered during the installation of this service pack.

    Management Server

    1. Run the pdcollect utility to gather all of the current logs and environment files. These backups can be used for reference, if needed, after the upgrade. The "tacmd pdcollect -help" command can be issued to obtain the syntax for the pdcollect utility.

    Portal Server

    1. Run the migrate-export.bat (Windows) or migrate-export.sh (Unix/Linux) to backup the contents of the portal server database. This snapshot will allow for recovery of the database back to the point prior to installing this service pack maintenance.

    2. Run the pdcollect utility to gather all of the current logs and environment files. These backups can be used for reference, if needed, after the upgrade. The "tacmd pdcollect -help" command can be issued to obtain the syntax for the pdcollect utility.

For TEPS systems uplifting the WebSphere Application and IBM HTTP servers
NOTE: Before applying the WebSphere® update, please confirm that your environment supports v8.5.5 (See System Requirements for WebSphere Application Server v8.5.5)

NOTE: You must install this package with the same userid that you originally used to install the portal server.   If you are unsure of the
userid, it is the owner of the portal server directory:
                ls -ald <CANDLEHOME>/*/cq

  1. Back up your <CANDLEHOME> directory
  2. Use your local procedures to stop the portal server and the eclipse help server
  3. Perform the uplift:

    Linux:

       cd <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Linux-SP0005
       $CANDLEHOME/bin/wasihs855uplift.sh -h $CANDLEHOME -i `pwd`

    AIX:

       cd <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Unix-SP0005
       $CANDLEHOME/bin/wasihs855uplift.sh -h $CANDLEHOME -i `pwd`

    Windows:

       cd <TEMP>\6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Windows-SP0005
       wasihs855uplift -h %CANDLE_HOME% -i %cd%
  4. Use your local procedures to restart the portal server

Validating what you installed

You can validate your installation by running the KinCInfo command on Windows systems or the cinfo command on Linux or Unix systems. If you run these commands before and after your upgrade, you can clearly see the component versions that have changed.

For service pack fixes, only components that have been updated during this release have the latest listed level. Note that the version number can be different across components depending on the level of maintenance included. If a component has not been updated, the command will report the GA version. There is no need to upgrade this component if your system is at the listed level, the install programs will automatically handle this.

Note: The KinCInfo and cinfo command output examples in the sections that follow show all  service pack components that can be updated (highlighted). If you do not have all of these components installed, then components not installed will not be displayed in the output of these commands.

Sample output for the KinCInfo command on Windows systems

The following example shows the output of the KinCInfo -t command on a Windows server.

Remote Service Pack Installation

The following components are remote deployable:

  PC    Description
  --    ------------
lz    Monitoring Agent for Linux OS
nt    Monitoring Agent for Windows OS
tf    Tivoli Enterprise Management Agent Framework Update
ue    Tivoli Enterprise Services User Intefercase Extensions
ux    Monitoring Agent for UNIX OS
r2    Agentless Monitoring Agent for Windows OS
r3    Agentless Monitoring Agent for AIX OS
r4    Agentless Monitoring Agent for Linux OS
r5    Agentless Monitoring Agent for HP-UX OS
r6    Agentless Monitoring Agent for Solaris OS

  1. Transfer the appropriate archive file (6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-<PLATFORM>-SP0005.tar.gz or .zip) to a temporary directory on the system that contains the code to be updated.  For the purpose of this README, the symbol <TEMP> represents the fully qualified path to this directory. Note: On Windows, this includes the drive letter.

  2. Expand the archive file using the tar command on Unix systems or an unzip utility on Windows systems.  This creates a directory structure that contains fixes for all of the supported platforms.

  3. Add the deploy components to the TEMS Depot by executing the following command

For Linux packages (lz, r#, tf and ue)

         cd <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Linux-SP0005/bundles/unix

For Unix (r#, tf, ue and ux)

         cd <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Unix-SP0005/bundles/unix

For Windows packages  (nt, r#, tf and ue)

        cd <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Windows-SP0005/bundles/WINDOWS/Deploy

To load all components to your depot run the following command once each for Unix/Linux and then Windows components:

    For Unix/Linux:

       $CANDLEHOME/bin/tacmd addbundles -i .

    For Windows:

       tacmd addbundles -i .

Or you can load only those bundle you desire using one or more of the Product codes from the component list above

       tacmd addbundles -i . [-t] [<pc>] [<pc> ...]

    i.e.

       tacmd addbundles -i . -t lz tf

Make note of the deployable component versions as you add the bundles and then use either the updateAgent
or updateFramework commands to remotely deploy.

Pristine install images for OS agents

The steps are as outlined at this link:

Separating the downloaded ITM/ITCAM media image into smaller agent/platform bundles

Note: point to <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Linux-SP0005/bundles/unix or <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Unix-SP0005/bundles/unix
             or      <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Windows-SP0005/bundles/WINDOWS/Deploy

for the media path per the steps in above link.

Updating 630 Fix Pack 7 pristine install media for new platform support (as listed in New Features)

For all new platforms listed you can already install from 630 Fix Pack 7 media but the prerequisite scan will report errors.  So long as the errors are just OS Version failure, ITM 630 Fix Pack 7 should install and configure ok with the following exceptions:

  • Solaris 11.4 Unix OS monitoring agent needs to be installed from SP3 or later
  • The Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server (CQ) on zLinux cannot be installed unless libstdc++.so.5 (compat-libstdc++-33.x on RHEL or libstdc++33.x on SUSE) is also installed.   However since libstdc++.so.5 has been deprecated, newer versions of both RHEL and SUSE no longer provide libstdc++.so.5.  You can patch your IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 Base Linux on System z media to allow for Tivoli Enterprise Portal installation on these newer RHEL and SUSE versions.

The service pack provides a mechanism to patch Pristine Install 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 install images so that you can get the latest prerequisite scanner definitions as well as patching the IBM Tivoli Monitoring V6.3.0.7 Base, Linux on System z® media so that you can install the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server on newer OS versions on zLinux (See install steps below).  In all cases after doing a pristine install of 630 Fix Pack 7, you would still need to additionally apply the service pack.

To patch 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 media, you will need an extracted image in a writable location or point to a new, writable, location in case your source image is read-only.  To patch your media:

Linux:

        <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Linux-SP0005/mediaupdate

Unix:

        <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Unix-SP0005/mediaupdate

Windows:

       <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Windows-SP0005/mediaupdate.bat

To patch the installation media:

mediaupdate -h media_dir [-w write_dir] [-r]
where:  -h media_dir  full path of the original CD image or expanded
                              media directory.

-w write_dir  is optional and is full path of the modified CD image directory.
it's only required if media_dir is not a writable directory.

-r            is optional and will restore updated media to original contents if you want to undo patching of the extracted installation media

As per the usage you would specify the location of a 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 extracted install image (pristine) and the script copies over the updated install, prerequisite checking and for base zlinux the TEPS and teps install manager files needed to then use the modified pristine image to do a fresh install of your target OS (all supported components).    Again after you install using the above method you would then of course want to immediately apply SP5

e.g.

Linux:

   <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Linux-SP0005/mediaupdate -h /tmp/6307media/agents

   <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Linux-SP0005/mediaupdate -h /tmp/6307media/base_zlinux

Unix:

   <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Unix-SP0005/mediaupdate -h /tmp/6307media/agents

Windows:

   <TEMP>/6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-Windows-SP0005/mediaupdate.bat -h c:\temp\6307media\agents

To install Tivoli Enterprise Portal on zLinux for newer OS versions after patching Base zLinux install media:

  1. Run the install for the Tivoli Enterprise Portal from the patched media.
  2. Then immediately apply this service pack  as per the installation instructions
  3. Then configure the Tivoli Enterprise Portal component before continuing with the service pack "Perform the necessary tasks after installation"

Additional installation updates

Installing and configuring IBM Java 8 from Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server for Tivoli Enterprise Portal browser and webstart clients

This service pack allows for updating Tivoli Enteprise Portal browswer and webstart clients to IBM Java 8. The steps are a variation on the Installing and configuring IBM Java 7 > Upgrade installation version pristine installation documentation as follows:

The link above has a reference to Windows: Upgrading your existing version of Java to IBM Java 7 and Linux: Upgrading your existing version of Java to IBM Java 7.
As per the previous links you need to edit the jreconfig.js file on your Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server and change the value of the jreDesiredLevel statement to the following value:

var jreDesiredLevel    = "1.8.0";

If you have jreDesiredLevel set to allow for users to run with their clients default, system JRE, i.e.:
var jreDesiredLevel    = "*";
then any client without a system JRE will be able to download IBM Java 8 by default from the Tivoli Enterprise Server.

New utility for securing Windows installations

The service pack installation provides a new command on Windows:

    %CANDLE_HOME%\InstallITM\securemain.cmd

An administrator can use the command to limit the permissions non-admin users have on the C:\IBM\ITM (%CANDLE_HOME%) folder.

To set security permissions limiting non administrators users from creating files or folders, use the following command:

    secureMain lock

To remove security settings use the following command:

    secureMain unlock

Command syntax can be viewed with the following syntax:

    secureMain -?

The secureMain commands use the following syntax:

    secureMain [-h install_dir] [-g SID] [-d folder] lock

    secureMain [-h install_dir] [-g SID] unlock

where variables are defined as follows:

install_dir is the directory path for the IBM Tivoli Monitoring installation.
If this parameter is not supplied, the script attempts to determine the installation directory.

SID is the Windows Security Identifier. The default SID used is S-1-5-11.

folder is an additional folder to set admin rights for. This is used when factory agents create an additional folder under the installation directory.

SID values are the user and group identifiers used by Windows when setting file security. The following links provide additional information on SIDs.

List of commonly used SIDs:

Command line syntax for listing SID values of accounts defined on the system:

      https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/wmisdk/wmic

Example usage: "wmic useraccount get name, sid"

Previously provided security updates have been included in this service Pack for APARs IV94417 and IV96017.   They should be installed separately as needed.   See the following files for details:

New Features/Enhancements

The following new features are included in IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.3.0 Fix Pack 7 Service Pack 5:

New Features from superseded service packs

Online Documentation Updates

None

List of fixes

Basic Services APARs
IJ23738 Netview is unable to parse responses from the ITM SOAP server after 630 FP7 SP2 is applied to the Hub.

Event Synchronization APARs
IJ23027 When events are forwarded to an EIF receiver (e.g. OMNIBus) using connection-oriented with multiple destinations defined, if a connection cannot be obtained with the primary destination, events will be delayed being forwarded. The delay will be a factor of the connection timeout (e.g. TcpTimeout) interval and the number of events. This occurs when the connection cannot be made with the remote server (e.g. cannot successfully ping it). The problem does not occur if the remote system is reachable but the EIF receiver is not available.

A new environment variable has been added . See Install Actions in the APAR conclusion for more details.

IBM Monitoring Agent for Linux OS APARs
IJ23105 When the Linux OS Agent calculates the Process Instant Busy CPU (Percent) attribute, it normalizes the result across the number of CPUs on the system. This APAR will allow the ability to indicate the value should not be normalized across the number of online CPUs.

In order for this fix to be used, a new environment variable needs to be set. See the Install Actions section of the Problem Conclusion for more information.

IBM Monitoring Agent for Unix OS APARs
IJ21619 When installed in a cluster environment, the Monitoring Agent for UNIX OS on some systems is not able to start the subdeamons (e.g. mount_stat, stat_daemon, aixdp_daemon). The agent continues to run, but data collected by the subdaemons is not present.

In order for this fix to be used, a new environment variable needs to be set. See the Install Actions section of the Problem Conclusion for more information.

IJ24998 Linux_Process_Stopped_2 situation triggers when process status is "Idle" after APAR IJ11040. APAR IJ11040 added support for new process state in Linux - Idle. Previously processes in this state previously identified as "Not Available" since the state did not match any of the states the agent handled. After APAR IJ110140, the default situation Linux_Process_Stopped_2 situation, which triggers when the process state is not equal to "Running" and is not equal to "Sleeping", now will trigger for situations when the state is "Idle". This APAR will update the default situation to also check for process state of "Idle".

In order for this fix to be used, the situations need to be updated. See the Install Actions section of the Problem Conclusion for more information.

IBM Monitoring Agent for Windows OS APARs
IJ21600 The scripts that populate the Tivoli Data Warehouse with the list of managed systems available for running the OS Agents Cognos reports are based on the Computer Domain Name attribute. For systems whose IP address is not registered in the DNS sever this evaluates to "NO_DNS_ENTRY". These systems are excluded from OS Agents Cognos reports.

In order for this fix to be used, a new environment variable needs to be set. See the Install Actions section of the Problem Conclusion for more information.

IJ26138 When using the Scripting feature, the handle count for the Windows OS Agent process (kntcma) will increase one handle (for fcp_daemon) every five minutes.

IBM Monitoring Agent for i5/OS APARs
IJ22929 ITM IBM i OS agent history log monitor does not return expected results.
This defect occurs for history log situations and reports. Results
may include some or none of the expected history log records.

An operating system change in IBM i 7.3 changed the history log
timestamp used by the history log query from local time to Universal
Time Coordinated (UTC). Records were being returned based
on UTC time instead of the local time. An authority change caused only
the latest history log file to be used. This resulted in missing record
for history log situations and reports.

IBM Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Agent APARs
IJ23791 APM and ICAM agents include the instance name in the load list file name, e.g. lo_instance_cnfglist.xml, whereas ITM agents did not include the instance name in the file name, e.g. lo_cnfglist.xml. When the central configuration functions were merged to form a unified agent code base, or possibly later when dual mode central configuration functions were implemented, the ITM default was inadvertently changed to the APM default. As a result, the customer's existing load list file was no longer being processed.

IBM Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Installation APARs
IJ22060 Uplift Java Runtime Environment

IJ24864 After using securemain.cmd on a Windows system to restrict folder access to the <candle_home> install location,
future installs of agents may hang.

IBM Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server APARs
IJ22768 SQL requests with WHERE clauses that use literals that contain the closing brace character, '}', fail to run.

IJ22910 EIF events for a given Situation generated by FTO Hub pairs are different if the EIF slots have been customised.

IJ23102 The Hub TEMS may hang during shutdown on some platforms when SDA is enabled.

IJ24449 ITM Situation Events are not closed when using the CT_Reset SOAP API.

IJ24907 When executing any ITM product on a Windows Operating System where the Region/Language setting is en_FI (English_Finland) the product will not start properly.

IBM Tivoli Enterprise Portal Client APARs
IJ22893 Use of the term 'SELECT' in the historical collection rule name
defined in the *.his file (provided with an ITM monitoring agent
application support file) results in the generation of an
invalid predicate in the UADVISOR situation definition created
by the TEPS component. Due to this syntax error, the UADVISOR
situation cannot be successfully instantiated by the TEMS, and
the associated attribute group can not be configured by the TEP.

IJ21690 The TEP client uses an embedded browser component library to communicate
with web servers. This component is sending the following User-Agent string
in the request header:

"Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/4.0"

The version of 'Firefox' referenced in the string above is no
longer supported by Mozilla. ITM customers are
now configuring their Web servers and associated proxies (e.g.,
firewalls) to inspect this User-Agent
value to ensure that the identified User-Agent complies with
their security requirements. Because the value of this User-Agent string implies
an non-supported version (with possible security vulnerabilities), customer
Web servers and associated proxies are disallowing successful connections between
the TEP browser view and the servers managing the web content.

IBM Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server APARs
IJ22075 The TEP component is packaged with an embedded library that supports the TEP Browser view. The
Browser view is used in workspaces, online / contextual help system, and secure certificate processing.
The version level of this library needs to be updated to support secure communications based on TLSv1.1
and TLSv1.2 encryption protocols.

Remote Deploy APARs
IJ22701 Attempts to remotely configure an Agent where the configuration text contains a single quoter character will fail.
