Error description
SOAP queries are not working as expected since moving TEMS from a distributed to a zOS platform. This APAR is for distributed platform codes changes and OA59289 is for the zOS platform.
Local fix
Problem summary
In ITM 630FP7 SP2, the HTTP server was enhanced to perform additional validation of the URL from the client. With SP2 installed, while the XML content returned to the Netview/SA client is correct, the format of the output was unintentionally changed so that it was returned in 'chunks' instead of in one contiguous block. As Netview does not support chunking, the parsing of the output fails. Netview is unable to parse responses from the ITM SOAP server after 630 FP7 SP2 is applied to the Hub.
Problem conclusion
The code was changed to return the data unchunked. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance packages: | service pack | 6.3.0.7-TIV-ITM-SP0005
