Abstract

On 9 December 2024, IBM released IBM® Maximo® Application Suite Manage Component patch 8.7.14. As with all patches, it is cumulative. In addition to the new fixes listed here, all fixes from earlier patches for this version are included.

DT393604 Mobile On Japanese-language iPhones, the Scan dialog box is in English instead of Japanese.
DT393840 Inventory The Disallow Negative Available Balance causes the hard reservation in inventory to be less than zero and causes the error BMXAA8902E - "There is at least one hard reservation that will cause the inventory balance or inventory available balance to be less than zero. Either change the quantity needed or change the reservation type.".
DT394097 Preventive maintenance In Job Plans, the Forecast Cost ignores Material cost if the quantity is a decimal.
DT394244 Mobile Mobile Inspection not opening video attachments.
DT394929 Mobile Inspection Form Numeric Field incorrectly displays dot (.) as the decimal separator.
DT395531 System UI Emojis stored in the database are not visible in Manage desktop, causing a "Non-displayable control characters" message to display.
DT395687 Work Order Tracking Work Orders with nested Job Plan generated from PM does not populate the Target Finish Date.
DT395787 Assets Updating the Asset Hierarchy with a Continuous Queue leads to data corruption.
DT395829 Preventive maintenance PM Work Orders are not generated with WMATL status.
DT395872 Asset templates Loading PLUSCTPASSET causes error BMXAA4176E - "Attribute LOCATION does not exist.".
DT395974 Work Order Tracking In Work Order tracking, entering an incorrect value in the Crew Work Group field causes the error BMXAA4176E - "Attribute AMCREWTYPE does not exist. Gather the logs from the directory and determine the process or app referencing the invalid attribute.".
DT396110 Mobile In Mobile Technician, the previous Work Order number is displayed on the Report Work page.
DT396189 System UI Downloading .xslx files fails.
DT396335 Work Order Tracking In Work Order Tracking, on the list tab, clicking Reschedule/Unassign Assignments does not work.

DT397378 Count Book Selecting the Duplicate Failure Code action in the Failure Codes application does not use the Autokey value for the new Failure Code.
DT397488 Assets In the Assets application inside the Item Assembly Structure, when a user deletes an Item, clicking Autonumber All generates Asset numbers, but the Asset is still populated on the Spare Parts tab.
DT397621 System UI In any application's List View, a user clicking the "Box" icon does not retrieve the records list.
DT397770 Graphical Assignment Target Start and Target Finish values are not updated in the Graphical View when using Modify Work Details.
DT398133 System UI When a user Attaches a document that contains a double byte character in the file name, the error "The server has encountered an unknown error. Reload the application and try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator." displays.
DT398270 Mobile When fixing errored transactions in an Inspection, the Action button is mislabeled.
DT398364 Desktop Requisitions In the Create Requisition application, the "Required Date" field in the MRLine object shows an incorrect time that doesn't align with the user's timezone.

DT398799 Mobile In the Technician RBA Work Log, the LogType displays all records because filtering by the Work Order's Site is not working.

1. Log into Manage as an administrative user.
2. Go to the Database Configuration Application (System Configuration -> Platform Configuration -> Database Configuration
3. In the More Actions section, click Messages.
4. Click Add New Row

    Value                 Using Move to add a rotating asset to a storeroom location will result in its inventory cost value being lost. Using Return will preserve the inventory cost value of the asset. Are you sure you want to continue with Move?

5. Click OK.
