Error description

"Web Services Properties" link in Administrative Console not
displayed for user logged in with a "Monitor" role.

Applications -> Enterprise Applications -> <application Name>
Manage Modules -> <EJB.jar>


* When the user is logged in with an "Administrator" role, she
will see all the properties.

* When the user logged with a "Monitor" role, he expects all
the properties to get displayed in read only format.

For "Monitor" role one does not see "Web Services client
bindings" link but for the same Monitor role, the
Administrative Console displays "Web Services: Client security
bindings".

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: "Web Services Properties" link in the   *
*                      Administrative Console is missing       *
*                      when the user is logged in with the     *
*                      "Monitor" role.                         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:  Install a fixpack that contains this APAR.  *
****************************************************************
When a user is logged in to the the Administrative Console and
has the "monitor" security role, they should have authority to
see the "Web Services Properties" link, so they can view (but
not update) the properties which are set.  But this link does
not display for users who have only the monitor security role.

Problem conclusion

The authorization check for the user's security role in the
Administrative Console has been corrected.  A user with the
"monitor" security role will now be able to see and access the
the link for Web Services Properties link so they can view but
not update the properties.

When the interim Fix (iFix) is installed on version 6.0.2,
additional steps are required.
It is vital the customer run iscdeploy after installing the
iFix.
1) Go to <WAS_HOME>/bin
2) Run iscdeploy.bat -restore    or    iscdeploy.sh -restore

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.0.2.39, 6.1.0.27 and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the
