Error description

  • In WebSphere Integration Developer v6.1.2 a mediation that
    contains an XSLT transform can be debugged by opening the XSL
    file and creating a breakpoint. In WebSphere Integration
    Developer v6.2 this is no longer possible because the mediation
    editor uses a custom file resolver that is confusing the debug
    version of XSLT.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of Websphere Application Server V6.1 *
    * and V7.0 who use custom URI protocols in *
    *                  their stylesheets.                          *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Custom URI protocols are not handled *
    * properly by the XSLT debug engine, *
    * resulting in failures to install XSLT *
    *                      breakpoints.                            *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Paths specified by custom URI prorocols were treated as
    relative paths rather than absolute paths by the XSLT debug
    engine. Because the pathnames are not handled properly, the
    debug engine is unable to install XSLT breakpoints.

Problem conclusion

  • The XSLT debug engine has been modified to better handle
    custom URI protocols to correctly identify when a path should
    be treated as an absolute path.
