This problem occurs when attachments are written to disk instead
    of being cached to memory.

A SOAP message request with multipart/related attachments is
successfully processed and the WebSphere web service
successfully invoked. After the response is sent to the web
service client, the web services engine attempts to remove
copies of the request's attachment files that are temporarily
cached on the server side. During this removal, this exception
    might occur:

    [29.2.2008 11:24:25:435 CET] 0000003f ServletWrappe E
SRVE0068E: Could not invoke the service() method on servlet
    com_gratex_dms_integration_services_DMSServiceSOAPImpl.

This APAR provides a custom property that if enabled, would
allow the engine to disable caching removal, and the exception
would not occur. The custom property name is
    com.ibm.ws.webservices.disableTempAttachRemovalRequest.

Problem conclusion

  • To prevent this problem, users should set
    the com.ibm.ws.webservices.disableTempAttachRemovalRequest
custom property to true. For more details on how to perform
this task, refer to the article "Java virtual machine
custom properties" in the Information Center for your WebSphere
Application Server version and operating system.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpacks 6.0.2.35, 6.1.0.23 and 7.0.0.1. Please refer to the
