Transactions

To display and manage transactions in the platform, you must go to the Messaging menu and click on Live Board.

Transaction details are restricted to specific roles. If you do not have access to this part of the platform and need to display some transaction details, please contact your administrator.

In the transaction section of the Live Board, you can:

  • Search for a transaction.

  • Create a new transaction.

  • View the number of transactions that pass through the platform for the specified day, by selecting the date at the top right of the screen.

  • Quickly determine the status associated with transactions.

  • Click on each queue to access the list of transactions, and see the history, details, or take appropriate action as available for each status.

The transaction list display is limited to the last 1000 results. If you have too many results, you can enter search criteria and/or use the date field to further filter the list.

If you click on a queue to access the list of transactions, you can:

  • Change the status to view the list of transactions with the given status.

  • Choose a sub-organization from the organization drop-down.

  • Change the date filter for the list of transactions by selecting the date at the top right of the screen.

  • Filter the results by entering criteria into the search box.

  • Refresh the list by clicking on the blue refresh icon.

  • Add transactions or files by clicking the + Add button located at the top right of the screen. Only available to users with the Data Access Managerrole.

  • Export the results to a CSV or PDF, or Print them.

  • Depending on the status chosen, additional options might be available on the top right next to the blue refresh icon. These options might include: approve, certify, release, reject, etc.

The transaction list displays the following columns:

  • Id (Internal identifier)

To access or copy this identifier, click on the copy icon located in the first column: it is copied to the clipboard. You can use it to document issues for example.

  • The Transaction Reference

  • The Converted Amount

  • The destination Currency

  • The Transaction Creation date

  • The Transaction value date

  • The Transaction Creditor agent BIC

  • The Transaction Debtor agent BIC

  • The Transaction Operation Type

  • The Transaction Payment type

  • The inbound File format associated with the transaction

  • The organization of the Transaction

An action column is added to let you interact with the selected result:

  • History: display the entire history of the selected transaction. All changes made to the transaction since its creation are listed with the corresponding dates and the identity of the modifier.

  • Details: open a new page with all the details for the selected transaction.

If you click the details button for one of the transactions in the list, you will see a similar display. You can:

  • Take certain actions depending on the status.

  • View the history.

  • Export the transaction details.

  • See the status progress bar.

  • Navigate through the various tabs for more information about the transaction (Transaction, References, Main participants, Other participants, Related output file, Notifications, and Related Transactions). Information and screens for each of these are included below.

Details tab and fields

Fields available are dependent on what type of transaction is displayed. Based on the above outbound credit transaction, they might include:

  • The organization for this transaction.

  • The status of the transaction.

  • The source file of the transaction: the inbound file that contains the transactions. By clicking on the “Go to source file” button, you can access the details of the inbound file.

  • The detailed state of the transaction, including more information like the last modifier, the state code & reason.

  • The transaction direction.

  • The internal value date.

  • The several dates associated with the transaction: the internal creation date, send date, and value date.

  • The transaction file format.

  • The internal send date.

  • The payment type associated and the operation type.

  • The original and converted amounts with the corresponding currencies.

  • The channel associated with the transaction. By clicking on the channel name, you can access the configuration associated.

  • The Unique End-to-end Transaction Reference, UETR transaction reference. If the file received does not contain any UETR, the platform will generate one.

  • The internal creation date.

  • The transaction reference.

  • The creator of the transaction: the username or API key name that initiates the transaction will be displayed.

  • The reconciliation Identifier (Recon ID) is used during the reconciliation process.

  • The GPI indicator.

Other Details

  • The processing clearing channel.

  • The transaction settlement method.

  • The sequence type.

  • The category purpose of the transaction.

  • The transaction clearing system identification.

  • The transaction local instrument.

  • Any remittance information.

  • The priority of the transaction.

  • The instruction for creditor agent, if applicable.

  • The purpose, if noted.

  • The instruction for next agent, if applicable.

  • Any internal note if applicable.

References tab

References consist of a Reference Key and Reference Value pair.

To access or copy the Reference Value identifier, click on the copy icon located under the Action(s) column: it is copied to the clipboard. You can use it to document issues for example.

Main participants tab

Transaction Details - Main participants tab

If available, information for the main participants involved in the transaction is displayed. The main participants include: Initiating party, Instructing agent, Instructed agent, Forwarding agent, Debtor, Debtor Agent, Creditor Agent, and Creditor. Details about the types of participants can be found in the Transaction - WIRE - Creation topic.

If available, information for the other participants involved in the transaction is displayed. Other participants include: Intermediary agent 1, Intermediary agent 2, Intermediary agent 3, Intermediary agent 4, Intermediary agent 5, Instructing reimbursement agent, Instructed reimbursement agent, and Third reimbursement agent. If applicable, information about the related output file will be displayed.

The related output file tab displays the following columns:

  • Id (Internal identifier)

  • The Outbound File Name

  • The Outbound File Creation Date

  • The Outbound File Status

  • The Outbound File Internal Id

  • History: display the entire history of the outbound file. All changes made to the file since its creation are listed with the corresponding dates and the identity of the modifier.

  • Details: open a new page with all the details for the selected outbound file.

Notifications tab

If applicable, information about notifications for the transaction will be displayed.

The notifications tab displays the following columns:

  • Id (Internal identifier)

To access or copy this identifier, click on the copy icon located in the first column: it is copied to the clipboard. You can use it to document issues for example.

  • The notification Medium: how the notification was sent.

  • The Direction of the file generated if applicable. A notification is always an outbound file.

  • The notification Format.

  • The notification Creation Date.

  • The notification Type

If you click on Go To under the Action(s) column, additional information for the notification will be displayed.

The related transactions tab displays the following columns:

  • The Converted Amount

Transaction statuses

Each transaction status corresponds to a specific step of your transaction processing:

  • Transactions rejected: Gathers all transactions whose business validations are not respected or that were rejected manually.

  • Transactions intercepted: Gathers all transactions that have been identified as fraudulent.

  • Transactions to process: Gathers all transactions being processed by the platform.

  • Transactions to approve: Gathers all transactions that require manual approval before continuing to process in the platform.

  • Transactions on hold: Gathers all transactions that require verification following the application of certain validations before being processed by the platform, such as Possible Duplicate found.

  • Transactions to correct: Gathers all transactions awaiting manual correction.

  • Transactions processed: Gathers all transactions processed by the platform.

  • Transactions planned: Gathers all transactions with a sending date in the future.

  • Transactions sent: Gathers all transactions sent to their recipients.

  • Transactions to send: Gathers all transactions waiting to be sent to the recipient, transactions in this queue require manual intervention by the Operations team to send out the transaction. The transaction will be released from the “To Send” queue as soon as possible based on the error, and this does not require user intervention.

  • Transactions acknowledge: Gathers all transactions acknowledged on the reception of an ACK file.

  • Transactions in progress: Gathers all transactions identified as processed (GPI status).

  • Transactions completed: Gathers all transactions completed on the reception of a PSR.
