Transaction - Release

On the platform Payment Live board, under the section Transactions you can see different boxes that contain transactions in different statuses. These boxes have different colors: Green, Blue, Yellow, and Red.

In this document we are going to learn about the “Transactions on hold” queue. This queue contains all transactions that need to be released.

Transaction release is restricted to specific roles. If you do not have access to this part of the platform and need to release some transactions, please contact your administrator.

How transactions go to hold queue?

On the platform, all transactions are processed following the flow configuration. The following validations can change the status of the transaction to “Hold”:

  • Possible Duplicate Emission (PDE) validation.

  • Other specific engines.

How to identify the reason for the required release?

Transactions with the status "Hold" are transactions whose processing was interrupted. In order to release a transaction, you must first identify the reason for this interruption and then decide to release or reject the transaction.

To identify the transaction interruption reason, within the Payment Live Board > Transactions section:

  • Click on the “Transactions on hold” queue to display the list of transactions.

  • Find the transaction you want to view within this list.

  • Click on Details to display the whole transaction information.

  • Use the View state button to know the status reason. The State reason will display the interruption reason.
