Local fix
N/A
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IBM HTTP Server with * * "SSLCRLHostname" directive specified in * * httpd.conf. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Crash in GSKit during initialization. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the updated GSKit if CRL is in use * * and startup crashes occur after changing * * the length of the SSLCRLHostname directive. * **************************************************************** During initialization, an internal buffer was mismanaged which may result in crashes for different lengths of the SSLCRLHostname directive.
Problem conclusion
The equivalent of SSLCRLHostname in GSKit is now allocated with the proper length. This fix is targeted for IBM HTTP Server fix packs (via an upgrade of the bundled GSKit to 7.0.4.27): - 6.0.2.39 - 6.1.0.29 - 7.0.0.9
