Abstract

On 28 August 2024, IBM released IBM® Maximo® Application Suite Manage Component patch 8.7.11. As with all patches, it is cumulative. In addition to the new fixes listed here, all fixes from earlier patches for this version are included.

DT383048 System UI The new Custom page header functionality caused an action no longer to be visible in the Work Order Tracking application.

DT392328 Inspections Scrolling through multiple records on the Inspections List causes a memory issue.

IJ51097 Integration When a MIF Processing Rule is invoked by an Event Listener to copy a NULL value from a persistent field defined as DATETIME to a non-persistent field defined as DATETIME, Maximo throws the exception BMXAA4143E - "The date format is not valid.".
IJ51159 Receiving When a user does not enter a PONUM in the Invoice main application, no Cost Variance lines are generated in the Receiving application.

Behavioral Changes
APAR Change instructions
Now, if you want to change feature from "LINEAR" to "POINT" or vice versa, you are not allow to make any changes if that Feature is associated with any Asset. You can only make changes when there is no association of that Feature with any Asset.
Now it is not possible to duplicate a countbook which contains item in PENDING, PLANNING or OBSOLETE status.
Added a System Property called mxe.app.srvad.storeStreetAddressUnitNumAsitis which determine how the value in STADDRUNITNUM is stored in the database.
  • mxe.app.srvad.storeStreetAddressUnitNumAsitis is set to 0 (default): The field value is stored with original logic,  with spaces between alphabetic and numeric parts.
  • mxe.app.srvad.storeStreetAddressUnitNumAsitis is set to 1: The field value is as it is.
Modified the description for System Property mxe.app.inventor.useIssuedQtyAgainstReservations.
  • mxe.app.inventor.useIssuedQtyAgainstReservations is set to 0 (default): It will only consider the quantity issued against WPMaterial's reservation. It will not consider the quantity issued by manual entries (for that item)
  • mxe.app.inventor.useIssuedQtyAgainstReservations is set to 1: It will consider the quantity issued by manual entries (for that item) and the quantity issued against the WPMaterial's reservation (added by using select reserved items option) from the Actuals tab against the planned items.
