IJ51096: UNNECESSARY SPACES ARE BEING ADDED TO THE STADDRUNITNUM FIELD ON THE SERVICEADDRESS

Error description

• PROBLEM:
  Unnecessary spaces are being added to the STADDRUNITNUM field on
  the SERVICEADDRESS object when the value contains alphanumeric
  characters and ends with a numeric value.
  
  
  PERFORMANCE ISSUE:
  No
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Go to the Application Designer application (System
  Configuration > Platform Configuration > Application Designer).
  2. Search for and open the SRVAD application.
  3. In the workspace, click on the Address tab.
  4. In the navigation menu, click the icon to open the Control
  Palette.
  5. Find the Textbox control and click-and-drag it onto the
  workspace.
  6. Click the X in the top-right corner of the Controls dialog
  box to close it.
  7. Right-click the new textbox in the workspace.
  8. Click Properties.
  9. In the Attribute field, enter STADDRUNITNUM.
  10. Click the X in the top-right corner of the Textbox
  Properties dialog box to close it.
  11. Click the save icon to save the application definition.
  12. Go to the Service Address application (Administration >
  Service Address).
  13. Click the plus icon to create a new Service Address.
  14. In the Apartment/Unit/Suite field, enter UNIT 1.
  15. Click the save icon to save the Service Address.
  
  CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
  Unnecessary spaces are being added to the STADDRUNITNUM field on
  the SERVICEADDRESS object when the value contains alphanumeric
  characters and ends with a numeric value.
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  No unnecessary space should be added to the STADDRUNITNUM field
  on the SERVICEADDRESS object when the value contains
  alphanumeric characters and ends with a numeric value.

  Added a System Property
  "mxe.app.srvad.storeStreetAddressUnitNumAsitis" which will
  determine how the value in STADDRUNITNUM is stored in database.
  If set to 0 it will store the value in the field with Original
  logic with Spaces in between Alphabetic and Numeric part. When
  set to 1 it will store the value in the field as it is.
  

Problem conclusion

• This will be fixed in a future release.
