This page provides links to detailed information and download pages for the currently supported version and releases of IBM Spectrum Control. Use this document to identify the latest supported version as well as a list of releases that have reached the end of support.

The tables below include all releases that have been made available to the field. The fixes are cumulative for each major release.
Fix Central is the recommended site for retrieving fixes for most IBM products. Fix Central enables customers to search, select, and download appropriate fixes for their situation. IBM Spectrum Control™ 5.4.x maintenance fixes are available on Fix Central in upgrade packages without license files. If you require the license, V.R.M updates are available on Passport Advantage Online.

- Upgrading to the latest available IBM Spectrum Control release is strongly recommended to benefit from the newest features, currency updates, and critical security fixes.
- Direct upgrade from Spectrum Control 5.4.5 and earlier releases to 5.4.13 and later is not supported. An intermediate upgrade to 5.4.12 or 5.4.12.1 must be performed first.
- IBM Spectrum Control 5.4.0 is the oldest supported version.
- IBM Spectrum Control 5.3.x is no longer supported. End of Support: September 30th, 2021
- IBM Spectrum Control 5.2.x is no longer supported. End of Support: September 30th, 2019
- IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 5.2.x is no longer supported. End of Support: September 30th, 2019
